Being callous, can we please say that coming home, actually does
matter?

I expect nothing less than Don Cherry devoting a 10 minute segment to this when hockey returns. I'm sure he ate that interview up as much as Leafs fans did.

Where could you possibly get this from? It seems like the last few Leafs fans have said negative things about him.

Bizarre that in 2012 a secret can be so well kept.

Don't think they'll be worried that a new addition is in amazing shape. Especially for such a deep team looking to Make a great run in the post season with or without the lockout additions.

I think the idea was that, if a guy who hasn't played in 3 years is the one in best shape, the rest of the team might be pudgy and easily winded.

That is terrific news. Whatever the personal issues were, it looks like he's able to move past it and come back to hockey. I look forward to watching him play.

I was aware, chose to ignore it and highlight the fact that a team who played all the way til the end is proven to have the durability and cardio necessary to perform in the ahl. This literally just shows how hard Ranger has worked to return to his former self

To me it's like if Gary Roberts decided to come back to the NHL. He'd probably be in the top on the NHL in terms of fitness. Does that mean the rest of the NHL isn't fit?

All it means from Ranger being one of the most fit on the Marlies, is that Ranger is clearly, really fit. We don't really know much about the other Marlies as it isn't commented on.

I love how that guy said that Ranger being the best fit means the rest of the Marlies are pudgy and easily winded lol

You can only exercisae if you are playing a pro sport. No one else exercises and can be in good shape.

I can definitely see why people might dislike him, though I don't. There are so many kids who would give their left nut to be able to stick in the NHL and he just didn't feel like doing it anymore.

Who really knows what was going on behind the scenes, though...tough to judge either way.
