How did MPS not score there. I thought it was going to be a sure goal.

My guess is that Bergfors is scratched to give other players a chance to get in(Engqvist, Harju, Andersson), and in Petterson's case he is scratched for good.

Looks like Larsen has been conserving his Frölunda play...

rofl, Bäckman knows he'll be the first defenceman to get cut so he decides to take out Mange Johansson.

The usual stuff. Had to acclimatize himself to the new life/culture. Things got better after that. He's improved in all areas. Alfie was a great help to him. Hasn't been guaranteed a WC roster spot, and is just looking to get the win today.

Karlsson's breakout passes are amazing. It's a pleasure to watch him every time he hits the ice..

i'm very disappointed with the Danish performance so far. They should be able to do much better than this. especially the 1st line should be able to apply more pressure.

Hopefully things will get better when we have Green and Regin in the lineup.

the team needs a better strategy. they are too offensive. most swedish chances were rushes. the danish team is not yet ready to compete with sweden in an open game. they have to destroy it a bit more. hold the own blueline better.

and better goaltending would help too.

that being said, it's really nice to watch some danish players and their development.

I'm also disappointed with the Danish effort in this game. We seem to have find some decent chemistry from LG hockey games but I expected a two-three goal differencial tops. Too offensive without really creating offense if you know what I mean. No defensive coverage at all really.

Did Denmark play any other testing matches before? And what were the results?

Defence started to look much better after Sanny left and they started rolling on fewer men.

Why didn't Regin play again? What insurance issues?
