I have a home Crosby jersey and home Crosby and Malkin t-shirts. I have the Stanley Cup DVD and a poster of Sid in my room back home. I have a couple of magazine clip outs from when the Pens won the Stanley Cup. That's about it, haha.
I'm gonna try to get my hands on a Talbot t-shirt this summer and maybe something for the dorm room next year.
As a collector of game worn jerseys (just added a Henrik Sedin to my collection) I have to ask how did you get your Mario and how much?
Original owner purchased it at a charity auction, I got it when he became ill and started selling his memorabilia collection. I don't recall the exact price. Growing up I had my Bure jersey that I wore during all hockey practices and that was all I had. I always said if I were to get a Mario jersey, I wanted it to be the jersey he wore when they won one of their Cups In jest, of course, but when the opportunity for a worn jersey actually came up I had the checked signed and handed over in no time flat. It was definitely less than what I spent going to the games of the Finals these past two years It is my only one and will be my only one. How many have you got?
I just remembered that I've also got some Christmas tree decorations (a 3D skating penguin logo, an 09 Champs ball, and I'm soon going to get the Sid Hallmark figure), and I've also got an 09 Champs Stanley Cup replica on our mantle. My girl picked that & the Wings 08 Champs Cup out at the HHOF when we visited a month or so ago. We have one at each end of the mantle while the rest of the hockey stuff is downstairs.

Anyone here besides me hope that they put out a "Volume 2" of 10 more great Penguins games on DVD? Considering they missed a few key great games in the first DVD set (i.e. the "Mario scores 5 goals 5 different ways" game) and that these past few seasons alone have warranted more classic Penguins games...personally I think another DVD set should be made.

Good call, I have the Sid & Cup DVDs as well. I've watched the 10 Greatest Games collection but I'm not much of a fan of watching old games in their entirety so I didn't buy it.
Oh, man! I got some ridiculous stuff I spent so much in last decade. There are way too many to list but here are my favorites....
Lemieux signed puck
Lemieux signed panoramic first game back from retirement photo
Lemieux signed hockey gloves

Complete set of football mini-helmets, baseball and hockey pucks

My goal is to get Mellon Arena seats after it closes.
got one hat which I rarely wear and one Letang t-shirt.
I'll buy something if it looks good in the future... but the current away jersey is O.K. --just not tempting enough. rather spend money on jerseys/colors I really like.
If I still have it it's at my parent's house so when I'm home next I'll look for it. I seem to remember Jagr with large chess pieces surrounding him. I think I'm going to put it up in my apartment if I can find it again
I'm not gonna list everything. Here are a few highlights:
Lots of t-shirts
Thousands of cards from the early/mid 90s (I have over 250 different Sergei Fedorov cards from that period - he's still one of my favorite players)
Lemieux jersey from 2001?
Jagr jersey from early 90s
Penguins sling recliner
Game puck from the Ron Francis retirement game in Raleigh
Commemorative coin from the first Lemieux number lifting
Lemieux nutcracker
Non-hockey (My wife's a Dukie)
One of Christian Leightner's shoes from "The Shot" against Kentucky
Piece of the old floor from Cameron
My goal is to get Mellon Arena seats after it closes.
My family was visiting Pittsburgh when they were tearing down Forbes Field and they were selling sections of 4 box seats for $25. My dad debated buying them but figured it would be too hard to get home. He's regretted it ever since.
- A Crosby 2005-06 Upper Deck "Young Guns" rookie card.
- A Mario Lemieux O-Pee-Chee rookie card
- A Lemieux 1992 throwback jersey with all the patches on it.

- One of those aluminum Mellon Arena final game commemorative tickets
Well thats it for me...how about you guys?
I'm jealous of your stash, but I do have each and every one of your want list! So suck on that.
I was so lucky as a Penguin fan back in the early 90's. My dad worked with a guy who on the equipment staff and I have just about everything in the world signed by Mario. I also have every year card of Mario.
I think I still have my prized Fedorov rookie card.. nope, that's gone too. what ever happened to cards? no one cares anymore. I love it when people just stop buying stuff.
now about all those mounds of discarded mobile phones and American companies with proprietary(?) phones...

Care to make a donation to me if I ever won the "First Goal Pick Em' thingie?

Overproduction of cards in the 90's is what happened. Back in the day everyone and their dog were pretty much collecting cards. As a result of this all of those sweet Jagr, Fedorov, Lidstrom, etc. rookies are nowadays only worth like $2.00
As for people not caring about cards now well...can ya blame them? With the economy the way it is and the prices for a pack of cards so expensive now (if you wanna collect anything even remotely half decent) I can understand why people are saying to hell with card collecting. Plus there's just too much to keep up with nowadays.
It's sad really, I remember when growing up..my uncle owned a card, comic book, and collectible shop back in the early to mid 90's (which is where I got alot of my 90's sets from...he put sets aside for me when I was small). He told me that back in the day if you wanted good stuff you only had to either worry about collecting Topps, O-Pee-Chee and Upper Deck.. all over which were wonderfully priced (i think like $1-2 a pack) as (for the most part when he had his store) the card mass production hadn't happened yet. He sold the store around '94-'95 or so. Anyways two Christmas's ago we decided for ***** and giggles to price the cards he still had himself. We were amazed to find that cards he sold for big $ back in the day (some of which still had price tags on the protective sleeves) were worth peanuts now. But I guess that's what oversaturation does to ya.

Ooh! Those are extremely rare. Probably worth over thousand for 4 box seats. There weren't many seats in Forbes. Most of them were long benches.
I'm not too big on wearing jerseys. I bought one of the retro Lemieux '84 yellow jerseys when they first came out but I don't even wear that to games anymore.
