Calgary board is dead!!

Funny...looking over on the Flames HF Board...guys are posting how dead their site is for a team being in the Final Four.

Guess it shows just how great our Oiler board is..still the most postings and we didn't make the playoffs.

I wouldn't put much stock in that...

I mean there are teams whose boards here are dead, but on other sports sites are full of life...

Either that or Calgary hasn't figured out the internet yet

They were all on glue when I went down there 2 weekends ago. It's like they have been saving up those bloody flags for seven years or something. . . Oh wait. They're frickin everywhere. EVERYWHERE! It was sick. I made my protest and wore my Moreau jersey all weekend. Oiler fans supporting Calgary. Bah! I put that rumour to rest. Heh heh heh. Did you guys know they have 3 French Maids? Anyway, there was much drinking and swearing at Calgary fans. Oh well. I'm still a little upset.

Ya'll believe what you want; the majority of us are at calgarypuck.com.

And for those who wear Oilers jerseys in Calgary, we just laugh and say "Must have forgot to turn off from Calgary Trail."

hey cant we all just get along. hating the flames is for October until whenever the Oilers season ends. As long as this success doesnt turn their fans into Canuckesque fans of untouchabe proportions, then Im fine with them. Go Flames...for now.

Does it matter? or in fact the whole thing gives the Cowtown a big boost. The Saddledome is fillled up with people, flags, and noise. The California state "delares war" with Alberta (US vs Canada) ,And the bottom line is the team's pocket is thicker. These may matter much more than the quietness on this board.
Just my 2 cents.

You know that wasn't really arnold schwarzenegger, but actually just a joke by the bear on Ralph Klein.

no offense to some of my fellow oilers fans, sounds like sour grapes. for once it is great to watch a canadian team compete in the western semifinal. at least the flames give one hundred percent every night, not my beloved oilers who save that until the end of the year.

That sounds like a helluva good idea, a Flamer quarantine.

Laugh Flameboy. Laugh it up real good while you can. It'll just feel that much better to mop the floor with your one-line wonder next season.

That's all I got

Hate to be a devils advocate - but maybe they are out cheering for their team still rather than wallowing in there self pitty like us Oilers fans. Lets face it - we would all give up a busy HF Boards if the Oilers could still be playing hockey.

What?

So because the fans are too busy cheering for their team they don't have time to go onto HF?

I think this Smyth selection has made you a little loopy
