The sad thing is that not a lot of Canadians know a whole lot about International hockey.

Probably a pretty good idea, since the statement that preceded this one is dubious at best.

This tournament in particular is watched by nobody in this country, so it is mostly hockey junkies, and they are well versed in International hockey.

I understand, but then the non-IIHF watchers come in and just chant the usual 'CANADA CANADA WHY ARE WE PLAYING THESE COUNTRIES', or 'I DIDNT KNOW THEY PLAYED HOCKEY IN ITALY LOL' or when they hype up players because they score 5 goals against Belarus or some other equally ill-equipped team.

Also Italy scoring is amazing.

Duchene looks good so far. 3 good scoring chances. He really needs to work on his shot accuracy though. The guy could've scored 35 goals this year if he could pick a corner more often.

I don't think we have anything to worry about. Even the most casual hockey fan realizes that Italy is a developing hockey nation, I am sure.
