Shogun won the first one so a little justice.

Those guys go around with a huge entourage dude, nothing for them to be afraid of.

Looks like Montreal did a great job hosting the event. Some of the best UFC fans in the world, and you can just tell that the fighters love going there.

I lol'd at his Pens/Habs prediction. (granted I'm a leafs fan)

But **** another overrated brit with NO takedown defense. Thankfully GSP is a better MMA wrestler than Kos, I think he'll beat him.

Koshchek is such a heel... What a main even though. Good stuff.

Kos is also boring as ****... Few solid takedowns but otherwise just laid down on top of him. I don't like this guy since his antics in TUF1. That dive just adds to it. Bleh.

True, but there's a lot of crazies in Montreal. I wouldn't care how big my entourage was. I still wouldn't say something like that.

Is it just me or does Lavigne always seem to stop he fights a little too late? Machida was KO and he let shogun a throw couple more punches. I think shogun even stopped punching before Lavigne stops the fight.

Pretty much. He left the fight with broken ribs, busted lip, and never made a scratch on Shogun and still won.

I don't like the guy, but Koscheck isn't a "nobody". GSP has fought legitimate contenders in the past, but it doesn't matter who won the fight tonight. GSP would have destroyed Daley and he will beat Koscheck in their rematch. The guys he has fought in the past aren't "nobodies", he has just cleared the division. For example, Dan Hardy and Jon Fitch got dominated by GSP. They are two of the top fighters in the Welterweight division.

What he said tonight was stupid. In the MMA community, anything Kos says will be discussed for about an hour then discredited due to him being a ******. This guy gets boos regardless of where he fights.

Having said that, the UFC set this fight up with the hopes that Koscheck would win. It is no secret that Daley has problems on the ground (watch his fight against Jake Shields). Regardless, he's a great MMA fighter, just a ***** when he opens his mouth. I was hoping that Daley would score a flash KO... I really want to see Dan Hardy (who has better ground game then Daley) hurt Koscheck.

The next season of The Ultimate Fighter will be interesting. GSP isn't one for trash talk, so I wonder if he will play it up during the filming. Maybe the coaches challenge will be floor hockey, it would be a nice touch to see GSP don a Habs jersey for that.

What an idiot lol I have visions of GSP beating him down, and tossing on a Habs jersey during the post fight interview. That would be amazing.

I thought it was hilarious, because it was so weak, almost looked like he was reading from a card.

Yeah, I was only a few rows from the cage and that's exactly how I felt. Aside from the main event (which was a perfect ending), the undercard was probably more entertaining than the main card.

I can't say enough good things about Shogun. He even sees that Machida is out and steps up before the ref stops the fight.
