"Maybe we could to it as a charity fundraiser during the next round. We could conduct an online auction. Winner gets me and Drew to personally announce one of the games for them. Half the proceeds to the Sharks Foundation and the other half to Minor Hockey in the Bay Area. What do you think?"

So what exactly would he be doing? Coming to your house and commenting on the game while it's on TV (that would take a lot out of it, since a lot of play-by-play commentary has to do with what you can't necessarily see as a viewer on TV, or would they be doing it live at the tank into your ears? Or doing in remotely perhaps? (Over the phone while they're at the game? That might be hard to sync to the broadcast.)

Or better yet pull ALL OUR resources and petition them to replace the VS. crew during Shark Games (ah hell the rest of the games on VS. period!)

Organize it with one of the local pubs, get Randy and Drew to come in and do it at the pub. Free booze, free food... I bet they'd do it

Probably, but i'd still listen to them.

I'd rather listen to a Randy and Drew that are 10-30 sec out of sync rather than the ****** Versus guys.

Who gives a crap. You'd be hanging w/ Randy & Drew watching the Sharks in the WCF.

They could announce the game via blowhorn 6 inches from my ear and I would be cool with it.

Well, in that case you could just listen to Dan and Jamie, they're pretty damn good too. I think we're pretty spoiled when it comes to broadcasters.

I have nothing against Dan and Jamie, but I think some part of me has always dreamed of hearing Randy call the Sharks cup winners...is it just me that has thought about this?

no, I tottaly agree. I would love to hear Randy call the game that the Sharks wins the cup. It would be epic beyond proportion.

I think Randy and Drew should call the games and CSN can air it the next day as an "encore" like they do with some other stuff, and have it ondemand so you could still watch it there. They deserve to be calling these games since to a lot of us they seem like a part of the team. Why should they be left off now? I would love to hear them call a SCF game and I couldn't imagine how Randy would react if we won the cup.
