John is the first name on his passport. Just like Johnny Oduya is David Johnny Oduya.

Latvia is just getting slaughtered. Canada is the most effective team so far. Nothing is wasted.

It's obviously a conspiracy by the IIHF to grow the game in Canada.

I can't say I blame him... Lots of penalties, they're starting to run around a bit... Down 6-0... Its never fun to watch your team losing like that even if you expect it.

Being sent to the box over and over again gets frustrating, Canada getting a non call to send us 5 on 3, is frustrating. I never expected us to win, as I said earlier, last year we lost 2:4 and was perfectly fine with that loss.

It has nothing to do with having a chance, if your team was in the same situation, you wouldnt care? You would just sit there and go "ohh well, we didnt stand a chance anyway, let the parade to the box and non calls happen?"

and infamously Albert Roloson.

It's from the IIHF though, and not TSN. They are just simulcasting

Latvia looked better in the third.

Kaspars Daugavins was great, I thought.

I am happy with Russell's production so far, 1-2-3 in 2 GP. 2 assists today.

Young kid is looking pretty bright.

MDZ is skating well, dont really notice him which is probably a good thing

johnson played the entire 3rd period, allowed the only goal against canada..... kinda soft but myers didnt really help him out clearing the rebound. He did make some good saves late in the game with the penalty parade canada had
