I'm surprised that USA is struggling offensively, considering they have a solid top six.

Yandle on a nice pass from Okposo.

Bad break for Denmark though because Carter just lost an edge.

The problem is they're either young and inexperienced (Galiardi) or wildly inconsistent (Okposo, Oshie, Dubi) or coming off off injury riddled season (Foligno, Moss).

These IIHF refs are worse than the NHL. A few non calls on the U.S and a few bad calls on the Danes.

This good?
Nick Foligno - Dubinsky - T.J Oshie
David Moss - Potulny - Okposo

Or a top line if they can fit in this role:
Okposo - Dubinksy - T.J Oshie

Agreed. They're in a real dog fight right now. Glad to see Yandle step up.

Other than the insane call, I think the refs have done their job and neither team has been favored. Regin's 2nd penalty was legitimate.

Though that one big mistake was a horrible call , it was unfortunate that the ref mistake had such an impact because a goal followed.

Two times within the last 10 minutes America had two many men on ice. Also Christensen was clearly tripped shortly after Regins second penalty and nothing was called. It's not like I enjoy complaining about the refs, because I know it's a tuff job but come on... It's not like Denmark need the extra challenge.

Yeah, that was a penalty. Last 5 minutes all the pressure, chances and shots by Denmark.

Kudos to Denmark for what they have shown on the tournament so far. Living in Denmark, I enjoy first hand the enthusiasm the local media have for the great feat (beating Finland). It's a bit head over heels, but it's nice and it's there for them to enjoy.

The Danes have bright hockey future and it's so nice to see a new emerging hockey country. The more competitive countries in hockey the better, so stay the course, Danes you will be needed with Czechs and Slovaks on a downslide.

Regin has the potential to be a legit 2nd line center in the NHL (he has to step it up next season though and add a significant plus to his 29pts he scored this season and I'm sure he will get the ice time to make it possible for him to accomplish). I like the way he stepped up his effort in the playoffs. On the downside of him, he seems to be bit on the cocky side carrying himself around bigger than he actually is (he has shown a bit of it in this match too).

Next guy is Eller, who also has top 6 forward potential in his body, maybe even bigger than Regin. We'll see more of him once he gets some real chance in the NHL, should be next season.

The guy I like the most is Frans Nielsen. An all-round player he will be an elite 3rd line player and penalty killer one day. An honest hardworking player every team needs, blocks shots. It's amazing how his ice time rose during this season.

Jannik Hansen still battling in the PO for Vancouver. We'll see what Larsen does in Dallas once he gets the chance and we'll see if Bψdker can dig himself out of the healthy scratch hole he got himself into this season in the rolling Phoenix team.

All in all, I am sure the Danes will do just fine, beat the Finns, are keeping up with USA so far in this match and are making big bangs in the junior categories. And that is positive news for the world of hockey.

Let's drop the refs thing ... your team skates in an even match against the US and doing just fine. It should be said Danes play with big intensity and on the edge of the rules (especially their sticks are bit too active, in the US PP Oshie had his stick held by Dane for like 4 seconds by the boards), so I think the refs look the other way for both of the teams time to time. And it's only good for the tempo of the match.

You guys can be proud of your team.
