Inexperience and poor effort by a few.

Denmark is really amazing, I think nobody estimated them so strong. They are the first team that is qualified for the next round.

Nobody thought of Denmark being the leader of the group D after 2 games.

Congratulations to Denmark!

I think it's a factor that the Danes have good talent that is equal to this team, so it's not embarrassing for the US or a Cinderella story.

Yes, Siberian, I agree, that the IIHF ice surface familiarity works in the advantage of the Danish. The hockey IQ is second nature to the Danes, but the Americans have to re-work their brains and find chemistry to play on this ice surface. Players like Oshie, Okposo and Dubinsky with their speed should be flying past the Danes, but they're not because the Danes are equal to their game.

This was a really average USA team against a better Danish team. So cool. The Danes clearly went after the win in the OT, no cementing, no trap, that is so COOL!! Thumbs up.

I think it will be Finland, Germany and USA fighting for the places to the next round. Who would have thought?

What the...?

This is officially the oddest start to a WCh tournament I've ever witnessed. Expecting Germany to beat Finland now...
