Top Five Games of the Year?

I remember seeing this thread last year, so I'll make it again. What do you think were the top 5 best games of the 2009-10 season for the New York Rangers?

This season was pretty disheartening.

Thus, I'll go with the five games between the Devils and Flyers in the postseason. Misery loves company.

The game after Brashear was buried in the Pack. Likewise, next season's best game will be the game after Redden gets buried.

Best games were probably the first 8 when the team looked good. Can't think of much else really.

Rangers-Devils - pretty awesome, double shutout, really memorable game

Rangers-Avs - Gabby's hattrick

Rangers-Columbus - 7-4

Rangers-Stars - Avery's big night

Rangers Habs and Rangers-Tampa Bay - 14-4 in two games

HM : Rangers (and especially cally) ripping ottawa a new one after the olympic break (at that point i think OTT was on a 9-game winning streak)

Last 5 for me.... But that SJ game early on is where I think the season turned sour for the NYR until the last 2 weeks or so. I remember seeing Vally in net and getting mad! Killed all momentum. And yes, I know it was only game #7 I think. Sorry 2 go OT.

Agreed. I was at the Stars game and the 8 - 2 Tampa game. What nights those were.

I would also add the 3 - 1 win over NJ late in the season where we lit up Maaaaartyyyyyyy for three quick goals in the 2nd.

This was a great game, one of the few that still stands out to me. I watched it with a mix of Devils and Rangers fans, we had a good time.

The Pittsburgh game where Avery mocked Talbot. That one will stay with me for a while.

In no particular order:

vs Caps - Oct 8 - Gaborik with 2 late goals to win it

vs Jackets - Nov 23 - 7 goals in 20 minutes of hockey (late 1st and early 2nd period)

vs Stars - Jan 6 - Avery's 4 point night

vs Debbies - Jan 12 - Marty and Hank making close to 100 saves between them

vs Pens - Feb 12 - lost something like 8 out of last 10 and we looked toast, went into their building and beat them 3-2, Olli with a GWG

vs. caps where Gaborik scored 2 late to win
vs. penguins where Jokinen scored in OT
vs. NJ (double shutout, and the other one where drury tied it up late)
vs. Philly, last home game of the season

vs. Washington when Gaborik scored two late goals to win it, early in the year, completely shocking Washington and their fans, while pleasantly surprising us.

vs. New Jersey when Lundqvist and Brodeur had a double shutout. Gabby nearly won it in OT. (was at the game, it was INSANE)

vs. Philly, last home game of the year. that game was probably the best of the year in my opinion.

vs. New Jersey when Drury scored that nice goal, and really saved us and gave us the momentum for the stretch run. sticking it to the Devils.

vs. Columbus, when we absolutely hammered them. Gaborik's 4 point night.
