TSN Coverage

Why do they break away to commerials every scrum or sign of a fight.. Show the game and stop worrying about your precious commercial time...

If I am watching the game than I expect to see the whole picture

Very poor job IMO

TSN isn't controlling the cameras. These events are always broadcast from IIHF feeds when they're in Europe; they don't control the replays or commercial breaks.

TSN needs to make money, otherwise televising this even is a waste of resources. Thus, they need to have commercials to ensure that the broadcast remains profitable.

This!

We all know how hard it is for networks like tsn to stay alive, they need every second of commercial they can get. And if we miss important parts of the game, so be it. It's more to the game than... the game.

It's the same with the NHL and the hard decisions they have to make, like not sending players to the 2014 olympics and such. They are doing the best they can...

I'm glad someone is sticking up for the little guy though.

I have to comment on the TSN crew. I just got sick and tired of their spoon fed propaganda chewing up the article writer and trying to make everything "OK!" because someone criticized Crosby.

As soon as the critique of Crosby came, Hockey Canada jumped all over it, TSN jumped all over it with interviews and consistent biased opinion regarding the IIHF article as stupid. This forced Renee Fasel to apologize for an opinion in an editorial!. The same Rene Fasel who was just granted a pardon by the IOC for shady behaviour with TV rights with one of his close associates.

Yeah because the important parts of the game happen after the play ends...
