My mom wanted to stop by at this thrift store near my house. As usual at thrift stores, I go down to the electronics department to see if they have any goodies for cheap, you can find some small things that they're practically giving away. I also like looking at some of the games and relive some old memories looking at some of the old games they had. Well, to my surprise, I didn't relive old memories at all. I found some pretty damn good deals on some games I was still meaning to play on PS3. All of these are actually for PC:
Score International Baja 1000 The Official Game - $1.00 - I'll start with some no name game that most of you probably never heard of. It's just your average off-road arcade racer. Something that will be fun that can hold my interest for a couple of weeks. I was meaning to give this game a rent from GameFly for when I was bored to kill a couple of days with.
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames - $1.00 - OK, this one I'm sure all of you have heard of. I loved the first one. I heard this one wasn't as good but that it's still pretty fun. Figured for $1, you cannot go wrong.
Painkiller Triple Dose - $1.00 - This is the original Painkiller along with Painkller Battle out of Hell and Painkiller Overdose. I actually already had Painkiller and Battle out of Hell I bought from Best Buy years ago for $40 and I thought it was a great deal. I'll be giving that away and keep this one for myself and enjoy Overdose which I haven't played yet.
Company of Heroes - $5.97 - A little more expensive but Company of Heroes is a sweet strategy game. I've only played the demo and was always meaning to buying it at some point. Well I figured what's better than now when I can get it for ~$6?
So I walked out with 4 relatively new games that are all good for $9.52 after I paid some change to the governor. I love thrift stores.
