Hamerlík and Fruhauf are on the official Slovak roster now.

Let´s go Slovakia. I hope there will be no underestimating.

The lines for Slovakia on the first post are wrong. Slovakia's top line has Bartovic shifting left, Podkonicky to centre, and Panik is their RW.
On the second line Ciernik is LW, with Zagrapan and Svatos. On the fourth line Kukumberg centres Macho and Zalesak.

Fun Fact: USA [and Italy + France] today cheer for Slovakia. If Slovakia loses to Kazakhstan by 3 goals or more, they will be sent to the relegation round. If that happens since the Slovaks are hosts next year, only the first place team in the relegation round avoids being sent to Div. I.

Two former Rochester guys combine for the first goal: Marek Zagrapan deflects an Andrej Sekera shot into the net.

1st period over, Slovakia leads 1-0

my fav moment of this period was Kukumberg almost sending KAZ defender up to orbit

I think the only thing correct about my description was that the two guys used to play together for the Rochester Americans.

My least favourite one was seeing Bulík on the ice not standing up.

At least I am good for something. I saw Sekera play five years ago for the Owen Sound Attack when he played with Stefan Ruzicka, plus Brad Richardson (now of the Los Angeles Kings) and Bobby Ryan (of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks).

Hey where are you guys from? As in which part of Slovakia? I am always wondering.

On topic, I liked how Sekera looked so far.
