World Cup Drops Age limit

The World Cup has dropped the requirement that you have to have three roster players under 22. This takes away an advantage that Canada had. We had some amzing young players like Nash, Bouwmeester, Spezza etc.

They dropped it a while back.

This means that he probably won't see Alex Steen play for Sweden.

As Leafaholix mentioned, it was dropped a long time ago. I for one would still not be surprised to see Alexander Steen make an appearance.

It's tough to say... but I think it's unlikely.

I don't believe he'll be playing any medal games personallyy but I think he'll probably be named as a reserve player and could see some action in the qualifying round.

I agree with leafaholix ..Very unlikely that he would beat some of the stars in the NHL for the Swedish team ...even X NHLers like Jonus Hoglund etc . will make the team ahead of him.. He didn't even make the World Championship team for Sweden and all the NHLers were not playing...

Probably wishful thinking on my behalf, and to think I used to be a pessimist.
