I posted it as soon as I saw it pop up on Twitter. ASF mentioned it too, I'm assuming it was.

so when the Bruins arent scoring its because of them and nothing the Flyers are doing defensively. When the Sabres couldnt score it was all about the Bruins defensively on the Sabres. At least according to them anyway.
Not many people seem to want to give the Flyers credit to what they have done defensively. I dont give a rats ass about them not having Krecji. We have the best player between the 2 teams out of our lineup in Jeff Carter.
Anyway, I really believe we are winning this game tonight.
History will be made.

the janitor at my workplace came in last night. he knows im a hockey fan, and hes a sports nut, so he randomly chose san jose as his team to support years ago.

he knows nothing about hockey. he thinks san jose is in canada, and he doesnt know things like how many men can be on the ice, etc.

yet, after watching some of game 6, he could tell that the flyers defense was playing incredibly. it doesnt take a genius to see these things, but i guess it takes a blind homer to ignore them.

Good Vibe of the Day:

My kids just received today (via overnight FedEx).... signed 'Breire Bunch' Hats and Tattoos.

I got a call from his ppl yesterday. They said that Danny read our story and wanted to send up hats for tomorrow's (tonight's) game.... what a class act!

Danny is going to have a 4 point game tonight!

I was on a roll this morning working on a presentation, but then lunch, and talk of the Flyers, killed it. This afternoon has been brutally long and I have another 2 hr. to go. Don't remember the last time a Flyers game had me this keyed up.

The pressure is all on Boston. If we lose, it was a valiant effort, but came up short. If we win, Boston gets remembered for an epic choke

I'm wasting a ******** of time today.... and I feel the same way. I'm nervous as hell, but I'm also so excited for the game tonight I can't sit still.

By the way, I left a message for you in the OT thread (a couple of pages back)... a pic of Marc Kennedy's new tattoo - thought you'd like to see it.

This means the first 10 minutes of each period are going to be even more important than usually in terms of getting your scoring opportunities in, and with Boston being the home team, they may have the jump in the first. "Weathering the storm" won't be enough, we have to take it to them right from puck drop.

Great moments, are born with great opportunity.
and thats what you have here tonight boys.
Thats what you have earned here tonight.
1 game. if we played em 10 times they might win 9.
But not this game. Not tonight.
Tonight we skate with them. Tonight we stay with them
and we shut them down because we can.
Tonight, we are the greatest hockey team in the world.
You were born to be hockey players. Every one of you.
You were meant to be here tonight.
This is your time. There time? is done. its over.
Im sick and tired of hearing what a great hockey team the Bruins have.
Screw em.
This is your time. Now go out and take it.

All of a sudden he is like ten times cooler. How did you see that happen, weren't you watching the game yourself!?

No offense but the Bruins don't score much on anyone.

Philly's top 4 have been fantastic though and in my opinion that's the biggest factor in the playoffs. It's so important to have those 4 guys that can play 20+ minutes effectively.

I just took 2 clients dogs out for a walk. Had The Fan 590 on the blackberry and just as Jack Edwards came on the show, both dogs took a crap! I kid you not! Even dogs that know nothing about hockey know he stinks!

He was so depressed but at least he said the turning point was Kreiji leaving and Gags returning. He actually knows his hockey but chooses to act like a jack ass and loses his credibility on the air.
