Thanks. It puts a smile on my face every time I see it, haha. Anybody else can use it, I want it to be known.

The Wheat Kings have horrible uniforms, you can't read numbers on the back very well.

I was thinking that earlier in the game..but, I was just thinking it's the feed until I was like "Uhh durr, I can see the Windsor numbers." It just looks like blob. It's most likely that yellow that isn't helping.

Those are special 3rd uniforms just for the 1st game of the Memorial Cup, meant to honour the military heritage of the Cup.

Geez, if I were a Brandon Wheat King fan, I'd be asking for a refund - even guys like Schenn look like they spent the last 3 weeks eating burgers rather than practicing for this game!

While on his ass, Schenn feeds Calvert for a goal. Now it's only a 9-2 deficit.

It's astonishing that goalie wasn't pulled. Just atrocious.

Exactly.

Imagine if he pulls the goalie after the 3rd goal. Could be a totally different game.

That was probably the worst showing I've ever seen from the Brandon Wheat Kings. They're all better than that; goalies struggled big time; bad giveaways; 3 week layoff; hometown pressure etc. Kind of reminded me of the Kings' 1st game this season when they got destroyed by Phoenix. Credit to Windsor, they also showed why they are favorites.

Curious to see if Kozun will play saturday.

Heard he was in a boot after the WHL finale.

...ps.. anybody have a list of MEMORIAL CUP PLAYERS that are eligible for this years draft?

I think i'd like to print that out when i watch these games on NHLN this week.

Calgary Hitmen Draft Eligible players:
Matt MacKenzie, D; Cody Sylvester, C; Cody Beach, RW

Brandon Wheat Kings Draft Eligible players:
Mark Stone, RW; Brenden Walker, RW; Michael Ferland, LW

Too bad that guy Hamonic is already drafted by the Isles.

Even in that bloodbath he managed to stand out in a positive way. Touch cookie with some talent.

Kozun clearly isn't 100%, I have only seen him a couple shifts the whole game and one of them you could see him favoring the ankle.

Kozun isn't even playing anymore, he's sitting at the end of the bench, sucks man, this is a big tournament for prospects who want to make a name for themselves, i'm sure there's a bunch of Kings scouts in the stands

Haha, Kozun plays one shift on the PP and it almost leads to a goal, this guy is ridiculous and those who says he won't do anything in the NHL, you guys can suck it

Jones has played much better since giving up the third goal. He made a great save on the 2-on-1 and Calgary scored on the ensuing rush to make it 2-3.

Calgary wins 5-4, scoring three straight in the third.

Kozun didn't play much due to the ankle injury. He's limping off the ice.
