This is a really good hockey game. I'll have to post some of the clips of Schenn vs Jones later.

Kozun doesn't play small at all. I like how he hangs out around the net, and is just ready to fire away like he did in the 3rd. The kid has a real good shot.

Well, he IS just playing against CHL competition.

Let's hope he can carry that gritty play over to the NHL.

I love the fact that the broadcast has been talking about all of the Kings prospects all night. They talk about Schenn, Kozun and Jones constantly and have features.

Kozun makes me think of Fleury and believe that he may have a chance to develop into an NHL player in 3-4 years.

No dig at you in particular because I do it to, but every little guy with a little grit gets compared to Fleury.

What a God that guy was. Hated him, but loved him. Ya know?

It would be quite a find by our scouts(same with Jones) if he ended up making an impact someday in the NHL.

Who are you rooting for? Calgary is my CHL team but I'm conflicted because Brandon and Schenn to win since I found out they were hosting.

Brandon vs. Windsor this weekend. I'd be shocked if Windsor didn't sweep the Memorial Cup.

And Brandon it is. Jones is just like Quick. Plays so solidly, then just gives up a softie.

Either way, we can't lose. I have felt since this past season that Kozun has real deal written all over him and want to see him play as much as possible before rookie camp (if I can make to cali by then) but I also love seeing Schenn and co again.

Tonight's game is a best case scenario.

I agree, almost all short players are the next Fleury, but Kozun plays in a lot of areas that most small players avoid. Will he do it in the AHL/NHL, that remains to be seen, but I'm a little more optimistic after watching him this past week.

Jones appeared to be screened by his own player on the game winning goal. Even so, I thought he played admirably and was the least of Calgary's concerns. They won the WHL Championship and I imagine Jones will soon find himself in the AHL.

I guess we get to watch Brandon get their ass kicked by Windsor again.

Brandon really never gave up even being down 3-1 and just kept fighting their way back into the game.

We got to see the best and worst of the Wheat Kings in this tournament. After looking like garbage in their 1st game, they come out and win in convincing fashion against the Wild Cats. Another lackluster game on Wednesday, followed by a strong performance tonight with the victory.

Fantastic game by all of the prospects.

after watching these games this week, I'd love to see a line of Clifford, Schenn and Kozun for a preseason game in Sept.

wheat kings by a goal is my prediction.

Hall proves himself worthy of he first overall pick but it isn't enough.

Here's our chance for Schenn to prove he belongs.

GO KINGS GO!
