Grew up loving them. Was a huge Cam Neely fan and stuck with the team almost as much as the Habs.

Like I've said in the past. I'm a Habs fan second, a hockey fan first. That way, my mind is not clouded by biased judgement.

After beating the Capitals and then the Penguins we shouldn't care who we play right?

One would think that, but I know I would prefer the Bruins over the Flyers. The Caps and Pens had the 2 top players in the game today, if not 5 of the top 10 in Ovechkin, Crosby, Malkin, Backstrom, Semin and even Green too!

The thing is, those players were spread across two teams and after that there wasn't much more to it. The Pens didn't have a lot on the wings and the Caps probably had more, but the Habs were able to contain them too.

Difference with the Flyers is that they have a lot of weapons on probably 3 lines with Richards, Gagne, Briere, Giroux, JVR, Hartnell and potentially Carter too..

The D on both teams are similar, both have the big man and have some offensive flair on their PP from the point.

The goaltending is in Bruins favour, but as we can see the Bruins goalie is beat-able.

Flyers play a crash and bang game, but can play a quick transition game. I remember a game against them this year when they had like 7 or 8 breaks/odd man rushes because of that and it was driving Martin crazy. Halak will see Hartnell, Richards, Carcillo and more in his face and knocking him down in scrums and trying to get under his skin.

These teams are beating each other up, the Bruins look worse for wear and they don't possess the size and skill the Flyers do.

Come on Bruins!!!!

And Philly wont have energy, and confidence from being the 3rd team in NHL history come back from a 3-0 series deficit... Not to mention a 3-0 deficit in the first period of game 7.

Your logic fails here, sorry.

Yet, so far we are seeing a repeat of Game 6. So many chances, so little finish (save for the first period).

By the way, your avatar just cracked me up. Yes, I just got it now.

I love Recchi. Great times here in Montreal.

His last game here in Montreal I saw him and he had just finished signing some autographs. Mark was about to leave and I called out to get one, he turned around thought about it a minute and made his way back to me. Really classy guy.

well then i wish for bruises, doubt, mental errors, breakdowns, giveaways, & and an overall sense of inferiority when lined up against montreal for whatever team wins.

Its funny because after game 82, I ran into a lot of Leafs fans after the game and they we're all chanting "FOUR MORE GAMES" in relation to how many playoff games they thought we'd play... Hilarious. I hope they keep ******** all over us.

I'm wondering how boston or philies physical play is going to affect us. They obviously hit harder and more then pens and caps.

I want to play Boston, don't care if they are like us, that Flyers offensive team mixed with physical power scares the **** out of me, I can already see Hartnell taking run at Halak, LOL.
