Time To Change Our Style ?

Is it time to change our style of play ever so slightly ? I`m thinking it`s time for our D to become more involved in the offensive zone. I like how the Flyers d gets involved more than most other teams and it sure is working. Maybe we should give it a try. Take the stop signs away from Georges,Subban and Mab.Especially Subban.

Seriously. take a deep breath. We badly played ONE GAME. It ain't the end of the world, nor the end of this team.

If we screw up this game, then maybe we have to see how we make things radically different. In the meanwhile, let's just give our team our trust, and show we aren't bandwagonners.

Man I haven`t been relaxed since last October. Seemed like every game this year was a nail biter and maybe that`s why nothing really shakes up our team. as for the Bandwagon I am a lifer hab fan man.

No need to change. Just adapt it and some minor tweaks should be fine.
I expect our special teams to be more effective tonight.

Nah. The Habs' style should have been chucked 60 games ago, or really, not even tried. It's holding together with miraculous goaltending, shoestrings, and generous helpings of luck.

well.. Not really 14 games..

We screwed up game 2 and 3 against Washington.. and also game 1 vs Pittsburgh.

So more like 11 games we played well. 11 out of 14. We can pull this off.

My god, we are the most bipolar fanbase in the world

I think so, but I honestly don't know what the adjustments would be. But if you can't realize that both Pittsburg and Washington were 1 line teams and Philly isn't, then you have a problem. They can roll 3 solid lines, you can just shut down one player like we did against the other teams.

So true......That`s why we have to let Subban be the player he is and that`s a guy that can finish the play with a goal or a fantastic set up play.

OK it`s time to change it up....We`re down 2-0 and time to let our D get involved up front. ESPECIALLY Subban. I know he wants to let lose and do more of his AMAZING end to end rushes. Seems like he`s being told not to do that.....Blows my mind that we have such an offensive threat on our team and we do not utilize him.

Yes, we need to build a team that is physical and intimidating.

I think we need to bring a little more of the physical element back into our game. The team was a lot tougher when they won their last cup. While the Habs have always been known as a team of speed and great skaters, they were also a team that had the ability to handle the physical aspect of the game.
