Well done guys. You're making the Habs look every bit like a team that barely managed to squeek into the playoffs, and this is mainly because you've managed to break Halak. It is quite apparent that unless he's on top of his game, the rest of the team seems to crumble as well. Keep bringin' it!

Action News just dropped a stat, that Philly is 16-0 when up 2-0 in a playoff series. We have a lot more hockey to play but I hope that we keep up with this and go 17-0.

Interesting to read the Habs fans say we dominated them, while we're saying we didn't play that well and can play better.

"The Flyers had the arena rocking with a pregame show that took fans on a journey from their last game of the regular season, a shootout win that clinched a playoff spot, to Gagne's improbable return to the Game 7 win over the Bruins."

Any video available?

I got back from my first playoff game and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the overall atmosphere. Sure, it was loud at times, but there were so many times when it was just pure silent. IMO, the viewing party was 10x rowdier. I wonder why that is? Maybe more fans there who actually love the team, rather than the corporate kickbackers that get tickets through their companies at the regular games?

That was a great video, it definitely brought the crowd to their feet. As for having the video, I do not.

Different than the one in game one? That was already on here somewhere.

The consensus of a lot of Hab fans is that the best way to beat the Flyers 1-2-2 is to dump and chase but our defense is so much larger than their forwards that they are losing every board battle and what few shots they do get are ineffectual and from poor shooting positions.

Sounds about right to me...

Also, you can't screen Leighton if, when crouched, he is still taller than your forwards...

Not sure if it was mentioned yet... is it just me, or have the linesmen been terrible the past two games? I saw quite a few missed offsides calls.

Think it has been because the games have not even been close, there has been really no worry yet. Although, we haven't played well yet this series... amazing they have been shut outs.

I think that's the crucial thing to Leighton's success. He's not exactly a paragon at rebounds or at screen shots, and with the small Habs forwards, they either can't effectively screen a tall goalie or they can't get to the rebounds. As long as that's the case, the Habs will keep making Leighton look like the next coming of Patrick Roy.

The play where Halak fell for no reason, the Flyers ended up with a scoring chance on that same play, which was absolutely offside. I'm not good with estimating, especially from where I sit, but the puck looked a good 2-3 feet out of the zone.

I was noticing that as well. I thought I saw a lot of calls on both sides that shouldn't have been made, as well.

2 in a row for Leighton.
4-0 with a 0.87 GAA and a .967 save percentage.
absolutely freakin ridiculous.
We have to be better in the first period tho up in Montreal. 29-12 in the last 2 games in the first period combined. Not going to get away with that on the road I wouldnt think.
Special teams have been very good so far. Montreal has yet to show they are willing to go to the net with a purpose and pay the price to get some ugly goals. If they continue to want to stay on the outside this could be a very short series IMO

Anyone else think Parent had a particularly strong game tonight? Something he needs for sure, to instill faith in Lavy and get some minutes. Coburn continues to be awesome too

Oh, when that video was posted to the video thread I didn't realize the Flyers had made it - thought it was a REALLY good fan made video!

At first I didn't think it was official, but about halfway through I realized the production value was just way too good to have been fan made.

Who's this M. Leighton guy the Flyers have between the pipes for this playoff run? Is he related to that ****** Michael Leighton the Flyers picked up off waivers earlier in the season?

As Sign Man's sign said at the end of last night's game:

"Only Six More."

I couldn't be more proud of this team right now. Make me prouder and keep it going.
