I wouldn't be that surprised if Finland won. The Russians may well start trying to score individually. We shouldn't forget the games for example Russia - Germany or Russia - Slovakia
If you look at the rosters, we look much, much worse.
It will be a close game. One goal difference.

Funniest thing, is that winning team will most likely face Canada.

Yes, starting to look like Finland will be better off losing to Russia.

Yes, let Russia win. All the power to them!
Can we still call Niinimaa as a late entry for our team?

We would also need Berg and Sami Helenius.

I think it's better that we lose this one and you can handle the angry Canadians

To win gold you must defeat all the teams, dosent matter in what order.
Somehow i think its good for russia to play against canada i qf. its a big revenge for russia. althought i know its a very big difference between canadas olympic team and this.

Well, I would definitely not want Sweden, and Vokoun doesn't really seem very inviting to our monster snipers, so I would pick Canada out of these three. Too bad no easier team seems to be on offer.

Why are you so afraid of Canada? They aren't so strong this year, I think Finland could beat them, even if the Czechs are the "easier" opponent to play for the Finns. I know that Finns have normally more problems with the Canadiens than the Czechs, but this year?
But I think Russia is anyway too strong for Finland, so they will very likely face the Czechs in quarterfinal.

Nah I pretty sure both teams will battle hard tonight. Canada is an easy target on this tournament, unlike Swedes or Czechs.

I wouldn't mind if Finland actually won, because if we could win Russia with this lineup, we could also have a chance at winning Canada. Plus I really can't guess which one would be toughter for Finland, Czech Republic or Canada.
And being reality I'm predicting Russia is going to win this and I'm not going to be even (that) pissed if Finland atleast tries and fights.

They haveto pull out some sisu to take win over that olympic-level A-team. They are our b or c team... But Russia hasnt been THAT impressive yet, even tought its material is superb.

Russia wasn't impressive at all if you ask me (well maybe just on papers). And they haven't yet faced a real opponent on this tournament.
