Surprisingly good period from Finland except for the stupid penalties (Niskala WTF?!) We're gonna win the game if we can keep this up and stay out of the box. Oh, and someone should score of course (like that would ever happen...)

I guess for Russians offense really is the best defense, as long as they are not in their own zone, they look superb.

I really like how Vehanen play, he was like the biggest reason why Kazan Ak Bars won khl second year in the row

If their offense was their best defense they would probably attack more than they did in the first.

I think finns never quit, unless they think they want to play chez in quarters. They'll try to comeback to last second, if its not that way.

If the Finns are looking ahead to who they want to play in the next game, then they've already lost this one.

well, great game by the finns so far with having in mind that they played yesterday and without nummelin, just bad luck though, 3 times the post, but vehanen is just great... and the russians with a goal which was just a present of their own inabilities... but i dont really care if finland wins or loose

Russians with a disinterested PP. Kovalchuk says he is in pain but just looked funny.

Pihlström, that finnish ball of hate took out Kovalchuk who is MUCH bigger than him. Nice, clean hit.

The Finns receive too many penalties they can't win the game from the penalty box!

Hietanen needs medical attention. Ugly move by Kovalchuk (I think?)

Yep. He got the penalty. Pihlström with a penalty too.
