I think Zherdev is done with the NHL, never really worked for him in my opinion, and if I was a NHL GM I wouldn't want to take the risk of Radulov just due to what he did to the Preds.

Well he said that he wants to return, plus there was written somewhere that he got several offers from different nhl teams. So I find it hard to believe that player who wants back to nhl, and gets offer won't go. But on the other hand, maybe in Russia he can get more money.

I've heard that Zherdev will be back in the NHL next season. He was offered multiple year contracts in the KHL, but only wanted a 1-year deal so he could return to the NHL this coming season. I would be surprised if he didn't come back.

As for Radulov from what I've heard he will play out his contract in the KHL and then consider a return to the NHL.

with the iihf's new rules regarding contracts, he will finish the khl one and then, because he has an existing contract with the preds, he has to honor that before signing a new deal in any league, assuming he wants to play in international events

Radulov not only owes Nashville a year if he comes back, he'll be an RFA after that as well.

Zherdev to the new Kiev team, I don't think his season was good enough in the KHL for any NHL team to have interest.

If Radulov goes back to Nashville that's probably the guy they need to get them over the hump and a top tier team.

Zherdev ****ed up...Every season changing League-Team...
Not good for professional player... Running for the big money will brake his career...IMHO

Zherdev will probably be back in the NHL, but I doubt it will be on Toronto.

I think Nashville will hopefully keep him for that one year he has on his contract because he will still be on a entry level (and veterans like arnott and sully will be gone) so we will be getting a 30 goal scorer for the cheapest anyone ever could.........but after that year trade his RFA ass to someone, hell ill trade him to the caps for semin right now....(depending on if Semin would re-sign)

yes indeed we would be a top tier team not only that but a top tier team in arguably the hardest division to play in.......and we spend like 10mil under the salary cap so we couldve signed a player like malkin or just a top 6 guy

Uh....what? I can't find anything about Radulov extending his contract with UFA and even if he had, we would have known about it by now.

If he did extend his contract he's breaking the IIHF deal with the NHL. I think we would have all heard about this by now....

I guess philly didn't agree, and I think he'll be in their top 6, perhaps even top line. I was under the impression that 39 points in 52 games was good in this league.
