I have a hard time believing that Sergei Gonchar would have a last place, rebuilding team in his wish list.

Jose Theodore at 18..

I know he had a great regular season and all but who's going to want a guy who choked in 2 straight playoffs on a powerhouse team?

I'm more interesting in where Nittymaki and Toskala end up. Maybe even Emery, but it appears his career could be in jeapordy.

I also think Nabokov could end up in Washington, seems like a decent fit.

1. I would take Frolov ANY time. I would love it if somehow TO got him (unfortunately I really don't see this happening).

2. I care. I would love a speedy center to Toronto who can deal the puck effectively like Lombardi can.

3. Foster persevered this year and had a great year offensively and defensively. He is not over rated, he is hardly mentioned on these boards.

Also, why was Torres not mentioned on this list instead of Parse of Burish?

Agree on the first two, but saying Foster had a great defensive year is a stretch. He put up big numbers on a loaded PP. He still had his struggles defensively and isn't as good as his points lead you to believe. He's a good bottom pairing defenseman and PP specialist, but hasn't proven himself to be anything more than that.

should have known this was posted by a senator faithful. We all know burkes the best at getting the man he wants, you have to consider them a favorite to sign higher value free agents that would fit in the system you dont have anyone going to the leafs in this

Flyers goaltending next season is currently on the team.....

Leighton, Boucher, Backlund, Bobrovsky

(Both Leighton and Backlund are re-signing I am told)

With roloson signed on and koskinen and poulin signed to pro contracts already there is just no need except for a back-up for roloson.

He's got a cup. Getting old and can get one last fat paycheck. I think he'll go where the dollas are.

I thought this sounded interesting so I clicked the link. Of course the first thing I see is Kovalchuck to Anaheim. I can't even contemplate how dumb someone needs to be to think this might happen.

If Sutter moves Sarich Regehr and Staois and then signs Hamhuis for 5 million, that may almost restore my faith in Sutter magic.

Sutter can probably get a solid young forward like Fehr and a late pick for Regehr. And a 2nd and 3rd for the other two players....

Still leaves the Flames without a true #1 centre but looking a lot better overall IMO plus they get some picks.....

wee

Why do people even make these stupid lists? It's obvious nobody has a clue where anybody will end up except for the players where the writing is already on the wall.

AKA the UFA's that will more than likely re-sign with their current team like Paul Martin.

It's pretty ridiculous, if you ask me. Vancouver has a huge chunk of cap space to shore up their defence and Eklund assumes they won't even kick the tires on Mitchell, Volchenkov, or B.C. boy Dan Hamhuis?

This list is hilarious. This is simply him outright guessing and doing a pretty awful job of it.

I'd gladly take Frolov on the habs...Holmstrom too. Though, signing all these top 6 forwards puts the habs about 10 mill over the cap.

Jokinen on the wing with Crosby and Kunitz would be awesome. He could be had cheaply, too.

The only way Kovalchuk goes to Anaheim is if they fail to re-sign Bobby Ryan. Plus, I see Niedermayer coming back. Even then, they need to upgrade on the back end. NYI? Really? that would make no sense for either side unless they blow away everyone else's offer.

Why wouldn't they be interested in Conroy? they need a 4th line center, he is a very effective penalty killer, still skates decent and would be willing to take below market value... the problem with Conroy is the coach is too stupid to only use him in a bottom 6 role... used properly Conroy could be extremely valuable to the Flames
