Agreed! Under all the hyperactivity and man crushes, he's a very bright person and he picks up things on the ice as soon as they happen, unlike so many others.

As for HNIC, I thought Bob Cole was very partial to the Flyers in the first 2 games so maybe he just likes cheering for the home teams! Honestly, CBC did some cool things with the Flyers, the Bernie Parent feature, the opening was all about Philly, I think the bias shifts with them. TSN seems to stay impartial all the way through.

Every time I see Cammalleri smile I want to punch him in the face. I hope Richards cleans his clock.

Lapierre runs his mouth and smiles....because he can't fight (or score for that matter).

If I was a player I would be probably pissed off at some of the media's questions they asked me. "Was this a disappointing loss" is probably the stupidest question I've ever heard asked. I mean, what heck, is the player suposed to say, "You know Bob, I love to lose!" You're god damn right it was a disappointing loss.

Good to hear Richie pissed off. He doesnt sound pleased at all. The Flyers have been very fortunate of late their slow starts havent hurt them. Game 7 in Boston and the last 2 in Philly all wins, all poor 1st periods.
Tonight once again they came out without a clue and this time they paid the price. they got exactly what they deserved. Call it a wakeup call or whatever.
I hope everyone is pissed off after that effort. To a man everyone needs to be better. period.

They won 6 straight against playoff teams. We'd have a party whenever they put up a 6-game winning in the regular season. They were due for a loss, Montreal was due for a win especially in their home building. In my mind, we find out if we're the better team on Saturday.

Agreed. Wonder if I would be going too far in saying whoever wins that wins the series? We would still have home ice (for what it's worth)... but it should show us if the flyers can react to having their' ***** kicked.

I've always loved Richie, and have always supported him and his captaincy. I think these last 2 months or so he has really grown in the leadership category, IMO. He seems to be taking blame, and calling the team out now, which is something he used to never do. I love the demeanor. The boys will come out strong on Satuday for a change, book it.

You could, but I don't think it would be the case. Whoever wins Game 5 wins the series IMO.

However, Game 4 is the measuring stick as to if this team is for real in the series and(if there is an "and") beyond.

If they lay an egg again in Game 4 (not saying they have to win, but they need to go into Montreal and play like we know they can play and prove they can play in that building), then I really won't know what to think. Of course the doubt will creep back into my mind, but considering what this team has done it would be unjust to count them out just tied 2-2.

You'd think the Habs won the cup the way they act in that city.

Hey midget Gionta, I'm pretty sure Philly went through way more than the Habs did this year. You're shorter than I am.

I forgot what I was watching, (might of been CBC pre-game) but they were saying that Habs fans used to expect to get to the Conference Finals atleast and really wouldn't go nuts until the Cup finals. Now they go insane after a 1st round win because they haven't won jack in almost two decades, according to them. Sounds right to me.

I saw a magazine cover the other day with Mr. Eastwood on the cover. In his prime. I thought about sending it your way. It was a great shot.

I've have never seen it in its entirety so I'll reserve making commentary. If you want to see a somewhat obscure and bleeped up movie, check out the Beguiled from the early 70s.

I'm gonna have to check that out. I come from a family who loves Clint, so I'm sure someone has seen it in my house.
