Russia play 5 players units so he play he the same time as the 3rd line. He play good so far make no mistake(bah he crosscheck Downie in the face) don't shy from physical play and like to fight after the whistle

He had a nice hit on Myers right before Anisimov took a penalty.

damn, would have liked to see that. If he can hold his own on the international stage like this, be positionally sound and knock a few guys down, I don't see how he can't help the habs.

So, I saw bits and pieces of the game. From what I saw, Emelin doesn't shy away from the physical stuff and I love that!

How was his game today in general though?

Myers basically tried to end to end but Emelin hip checked him to the ice. Borderline interference. He was also one of the Russians that didn't mind mixing it up after the whistle.

Isn't it automatic ejection for fighting in international play? The refs were probably just being nice since it wasn't much of a fight.

I missed the actual hit but did Perry actually even run into him? I thought they said something about Perry not even touching him as he went by?

Kane is so good that he can play for Chicago in the playoffs and for a country he isn't from at the same time.

I have to take this back, I ended up getting both games on tv yesterday, lucky I set my dvr to record even though it didn't say what the games were. I watched a little of the game last night inbetween periods of the Habs.
