The Maple Leafs know who they want with the 5th overall pick but are making it available for the right price, keep the offers coming in.

With the first pick in the 2010 NHL Draft, the are proud to select (cue TSN's coverage going to a split screen of Seguin and Hall)....

From the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League, Tyler Seguin!

Boston will be notified via PM that they are now on the clock.

Please make sure to PM the following GM so that we can keep this draft running.

Florida selects from the Windsor Spitfires Defenceman Cam Fowler.

"When we lost Jay Bouwmeester this past year, we didn't think we'd have the opportunity to get a player who could come in and replace him/his skillset, which is why we are pleased to take this defenseman. His untapped potential and performances at the highest levels have proven to us he is a winner and the type of player we want on our team moving forward."

Next GM has been PM'd.

I nominated Erik Gudbranson as BPA. Columbus needs an elite d-man in a bad way.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are proud to select ..

Nino Niederreiter

One of the youngest players in the draft, "El Nino" was named to the WHL's Western Conference second All-Star Team in only his first year. Known as a player with no quit in him, "El Nino" loves to have the puck on his stick in pressure situations. Some scouts have compared "El Nino's" skill, size, & 2-way game to Rick Nash.

Next GM will be PM'ed

The Montreal Canadiens are proud to select, from the Prince George Cougars of the WHL, Brett Connolly.

We were pleasantly surprised to see Brett still available at the 8th overall pick. Although our team probably could have used a good two-way defenseman, we simply could not pass up the opportunity to draft arguably the third best forward in the draft.

Consequently, we are also looking to pick up another mid-late first for a package consisting of Pacioretty/Pouliot+. PM if interested.

Next GM will be PM'd shortly.

The Wild delegation proudly select jeff skinner of the Kitchener Rangers. We believe Jeff has exactly what this Wild team needs, scoring, and lots of it.

The Rangers are proud to select F Vladimir Tarasenko, we feel that his top end talent is exactly what we need, he is one of the best forwards in the draft. We also feel that getting him to NA will not be a problem.
The next GM will be PMed.
