Courageous effort by Hammer. I'm so sure that we'll learn that he has banged up shoulders after this series. Great job and pretty impressive.

They were battling pretty hard in font of the net with cross checks/slashes. Spacek threw a little can opener on him as Danielle went back to he bench. Little scrum ensued. No biggy.

Very proud of our boys tonight. A very strong effort, and it paid off.

We have the momentum now, so hopefully we can keep it up.

Excellent game !

The crowd helped the team.

The third line was great.

Gomez's line was good too.

And our defense played a much better game tonight.

That was probably the Habs' best game of the entire playoffs. Almost complete domination from start to finish.

We outshot them each and every period.

We outscored them each and every period (2-0, 1-0, 2-1).

Just an absolutely beautiful performance.

And how fitting it is that it's our scoring hero Cammy that got the ball rolling. Great game by the whole team.

Go Habs Go!!!!

That lucky first goal we prayed for so long seemed to have change everything. But too soon to say if Flyers' bubble deflated for good.

I like the habs getting chippy at the end. Can't let Philly think they can intimidate us.

Game 1 under our belt. Game 2 is another must win for digging a 2-0 hole.

There's a reason why every team send someone in front of the net, we did it, we won!

Jacques makes questionable decisions sometimes, but this team has turned it around because of him. He used video, had talks with players and now they dominate. Huge turnaround from Carbo.

That goal wasn't luck. That goal was smart hockey.

Pleks and AKost went right in front of the net, while Cammy fought hard for perfect shooting positioning, and then he buried it while the goalie was distracted by Pleks and Akost.

The great thing about this win isn't just that we scored a lot; it's that we scored by doing what we have to do: going right to the front of the net and the danger zone.

The team adapted like it needed to; it didn't get lucky tonight.

Hamrlik had many good games this playoff series. He just had more bad than good games.

Pouliot has to stay with gomez and gionta, he was actually productive tonight. Andrei K is playing physical, I love it. If we can get those 2 guys really going look out.
