Bounces like that happen every game. It was about time that one went our way, for a change, in this series.

It doesn't change the fact that the Habs rushing hard right to the front of the net made a real difference tonight.

I'll admit that some bounces finally went our way this game, and that helped a lot of course, but the team played better too.

If the Habs keep playing Philly this way we will take them out and be in the cup finals.

Awesome game to watch tonight. The Habs played like true warriors.

Hamrlik was amazing tonight. He deserved the 1st star.

Lappy - Moore - Pyatt ... love all 3 of them ... Pyatt is soooo gooood defensively.

Very happy overall with everybody ...

I wanted to mention that Bob Hartley just gave props to Carey for the way he has handled the demotion. He says that during TV timeouts Halak always goes to talk to Price about the game and that Price has become Halak's confidant.

On CBC, Healey mentioned that Halak had told him that after the 3rd goal in Game 2, it was Price who gave him advice and helped him get over the goal.

What a difference between this and game 2. Obviously, Jaro was on his game tonight, but the team was doing so much right - they were skating, the most important thing. Getting on loose pucks, forcing the Philly puck carriers, getting in the passing lanes. Secondly, they were fighting harder for the puck on the one-on-ones. Thirdly, they were going for the net.

Those were the little things that made them beat Washington and Pitts, and it'll be what beats Philly, if they manage to.

And Lapierre - no dumb penalties, a few nice plays and getting under Philly's skin. Awesome.

I wouldn't say they have to make too many adjustments for the next game, just keep trying to do those things as well as they can. It's not a rocket-science strategy, pretty basic stuff, but that's what makes the difference IMO.

And for once, I was able to relax and enjoy the last few minutes of a game instead of a nail-biting nerve-wracking

I really like Pyatt, Moore and Lapierre in these playoffs. They have been very good in the 3 series so far.

I really hope Gauthier re-signs Moore for next season. The guy is an excellent hockey player. Very good two-way forward.

It is.. More and more D don't care missisng the net on the side they shoot because of the rebound behind the glass. I'm not saying Subban did it on purpose but it's not that unusual to see that kind of goal.

Trolling is the perfect term to what Lapierre does on the ice.

These games really kill me, cause it shows how much of a ****ing TEAM we are. Everyone has their part and with a few exceptions, they're all important. I mean, if I was Price, I'd be bitter as ****, but the whole giving Halak advice is so great, and then we come out and play like this, each and every one of us...why must games like Games 1 and 2 ever happen?

If theres someone coming to the point and taking away the shooting lane, its just a smart play to send it wide to make sure it gets deep and off the active boards. Its hard for the goalie to read and almost the same as a rebound.

Great game all around. Skate hard to loose pucks, use speed on their slower D and score first. The secrets to success for the habs.

Very good effort and intensity. I am not sure Philly brought their "A" game tonight much like the Habs in Game 1 but this is a positive to build on. Home ice playing a big role as Montreal can get better matchups as well.

Still need offense out of Gomez, Plekanec and Kostitsyn. All three need to be much much better still. Pleky is very disappointing.

alright, everyone back on the bandwagon I see

Not sure why but I actually felt reasonably confident coming into this one that we'd win. Feel confident about game 4 too, we just have to keep skating

They do have to anticipate the adjustments the Flyers will make, though. The Flyers got burned trying to play too conservative a road game; they tried to sit back and ride out the storm. They didn't forecheck nearly as hard as on home ice and made tons of defensive gaffes. They'll come out stronger next game for sure, so Montreal's gotta be prepared for that.

Moore is looking worth more than a 2nd rounder, and I want to keep him with Lappy and Pyatt for seasons to come.

Out skated and out played the other team, that's what we did all playoffs long!

Great D and O tonight, the game plan was followed through and played to perfection, keep it up because if they can string a 6 game winning streak I believe the Habs can string a 4 game streak of their own if they follow the plan!!!

And did anyone else hear Leighton's horseshoe drop???

That's about the only way he'll get noticed. If I didn't know better I would have thought he was out injured all series.
