then what was he doing in the corner? If you give away the puck in your own zone you sure as hell are responsible for atleast giving an effort to get it back. But what did he do? He got sucked down into the corner then just decided that someone else should take Staal. But when defensemen and centers see Ovechkin chasing a man down low, the center should shift high, and the D let AO take his man. That didnt happen here.

As I stated previously, very few teams have the personnel to literally knock him off his game, but I have seen it happen twice now against Team Canada. I have yet to see this happen in the NHL.

in all fairness, he doesnt play shea weber alot, or keith and seabrook, phaneuf before this year
