So my Dad just called from back home (NJ) and said that I should expect a potential bloodbath today, because of a.) how we played on Thursday as noted by Richie and Gagne, b.) the scrum at the end of the game, c.) MTL sending out their #1 PP up 4-1, d.) apparently a Canadien showed up our bench during the game, sticking his tongue out or something (weak, i know)

I'd expect the boys to come out focused and going HARD to the net, and then not backing down from any consequent scrum that ensues

Obviously we can't come out just looking to fight, we'd lose the game.

Dont be surprised to see Lavvy move Giroux to wing with Richie and Gagne and have Carter center JVR and Asham.

Terrible decision. Lappy takes Powe's place on the PK. Who takes a Top 9 forwards place if one of them goes down? Powe? Betts? Carcillo has good hands plus he does play D.

Dude, you need to calm down. If not having Carcillo in the lineup costs the Flyers the game they've got bigger issues.

I think Lavi is getting to the breaking point with Carbomb. He shouldn't have to worry about calming him down all the time when he has the Habs to worry about. I think bringing Carter in is a smart move, not so much for today but for future games. There's nothing that can replicate a real game for getting him in shape physically and mentally.

They need to generate offense. They got very little of that in Game 3 and not much more in Game 2. Powe brings none of that.

Even as a huge fan of Carcillo I'm totally fine with him being scratched. He hasn't been his own self in the recent half a dozen games. Here's hoping this could wake him up abit.

Also no way Powe would sit - Lappy and Carts aren't at 100% so we need Darrol's efforts on the PK.

Damn I'd like to see JC playing wing with Richie and Gags, damn I'd like to see that. Damn! Workaholic playmaker between to great finishers, holy ****!

Carcillo was already filling in for unavailable Top 9 players.

Powe was already in the normal rotation for PK'ers, and was playing with Betts. That's one of your top 2 pairs. Carcillo wasn't on special teams, and Carcillo averaged the least amount of time of any forwards. Someone who doesn't play special teams is easily your most expendable, so that is either Asham or Carcillo.

Wow. Carter and Lappy both back? I hope they don't rush Carter into too many minutes, but hopefully this will be a huge lift to the team morale and give them the jets and focus to have a good first period!

Carcillo has largely been a non-factor since the Devs series, and may be playing on a bum knee.

Wow, all the beat writers seem to be in panic mode now. I really don't see it like that, even if they lose today.
