Sigh ok I agree about the refs. Its now been 3 horrible calls in a row for the Czechs. Atleast the Swedes got soft penalties, not phantom calls.

edit, scratch that, the holding would qualify as a soft penalty as well.

No, the ref has just sent a very clear message.
Grab someone and it's a holding.

He's been very consistent, the players should really have figured it out by now.

Consistently bad, but two wrongs don't make a right. Way too low bar for a semifinal. I think the feeling is mutual between the teams.

No, its not only about holding. They are really bad and slow down the game.

Czechs themselves are doing their part of slowing the game aswell.

While the 1st period was interesting enough, the 2nd was awful. Even Jagr plays mediocre in the powerplay

Sweden should've been up by more than 1 goal if only the finishing touch was a bit better. 3rd period now and it's anyone's game.
The play hasn't been the best, but there has been things to feast your eyes on. There are some fine Czech girls in that crowd

The fact that these two teams made it as far as the Semis says alot about the quality of this tournament.

Gotta love Jagr putting on a show after every penalty. This one was a pretty bad call though.

Haha, Ericsson steps on a broken stick and Jagr goes off for tripping.

What a joke of a penalty.

No penalty but he shouldn't have dropped the stick right in front of him.

I guess you can thank Finland for that. Swedes, on the other hand, had a fun evening with Denmark
