That has nothing to do with them failing to score. Even with the penalties, they were never even close to scoring during their PP or ES.

Yes!!! Go Germany!

My world will be rocked if you hold this lead, and I will be SOOOO happy.

Ich liebe Deutschland; In dieser spiel, Deutschland hast der welt gebraucht...

No one wants Russia to win. Aside from maybe those russian fans... but that is besides the point.

my guess would be that Bykov wanted to rest Varlamov

3 games in 4 days is tough.

not sure why Semin is not playing, maybe he is injured a bit?

Russians dressing their backup in a semifinal match is a show of disrespect to their opponent. Germans can easily make them regret that move.

The funny thing is, Germany is playing it's backup too, I would even say we play our 3rd goalie, but Krupp obviously disagrees.

WHAT!, Rus- Ger 0-1 . Obviously it's a long long way to go but if Germany would pull this off, it would be greater than the "miracle on ice"

holzer has a mild concussion, won#t comeback today... i hope the rest of our defenders stays healthy until the end of the tourney...

big chance for ullmann to score the 2:0... but russia comes out flying and pessures us... zepp leaves a good impressions. penalty vs tripp, pp russia. let's go deutschland!

Russia...

Germany should avoid that kind of careless playing which leads to penalties. It has proven in the first minutes of this period that it can still challenge Russian defence.
