Seems that Ehrhoff wasn't happy with Gustafssons act...

This is emblematic of BÅG. He's just a total hissy fit when it comes to media coverage. I hate the media too, but to take a shot at them in a bronze medal game is just petty.

And pretty funny ...

Haha! BÅG sure knows how to make friends.
Now he'll be equally missed in Sweden and abroad!

Listen, Swedes! If only Latvia had a coach once in a while, that could sing our anthem.

I guess it brings to the mind some things said about Swedes after the World Cup 1958.

I don't like BÅG but that timeout + his comments was absolute hilarious!

I dunno why so many people think it`s funny. The same people that also critcized him for the very time out that was the reason for all the Swedish media bashing him. In Germany a disrespectful behavior towards an opponent (especially the host) just to make up for a personal and tactical mistake would never be conceived as being funny so maybe we just have a different kind of humor... Bet he could have chosen a classier goodbye statement.

Whatever, it`s over still happy with the German result.

St. Louis Blues assistant GM Jarmo Kekäläinen in finnish tv about BÅG's time out: "That was cheap and BÅG just wanted to show his face and status more in the media and I don't understand that at all, it was disrespect and humiliation of your opponent and it got well-earned whistles."

The same media that turned itself, and consequently the fans and the average joe viewer against every coach since the mid 90s.

Just be happy Germany is outside the regulation round and cheer up. A world without humor is not something I'd strive for.

Can't believe we're having to defend BÅG.

I think Jarmo Kekäläinen should just keep his mouth shut, because he clearly didn't understand what he was talking about. This was his take on BÅG's timeout yesterday: "I think the only explanation for it was that BÅG wanted that the same guys continue on the ice." WTF? What choice did BÅG have on who was on the ice for that faceoff?

I am a swede, and i agree it was disrespectful. BÅG shouldn't be taking advantage of his opponents for his own personal vendetta. Wasn't it Kant who said that a human being should always take into a count another persons integrity, and never neglect it for your own purpose?
Im happy for our young guys, but i am sad that Germany didn't get rewarded, and to add insult to injury, being ridiculed by BÅG.

Whining...not at all just stupid move by BÅG and nobody outside Sweden doesnt know or give a damn about your media vs BÅG war...IIHF bronze game isn't the right battle field for that.

It was just a dumb thing to do. Drawing out the end of the game needlessly and getting some extra time to celebrate your victory while your opponent needs to stand on the bench and watch... pretty classless.

I can understand him wanting to get back at the media, but in the end he just made a huge ass of himself and it doesn't really do much to justify his mistake earlier.

BÅG speaks german, he went right to Krupp and some players to tell them what it was about. Ehrhoff was probably one of them.
