Carcillo is a plug.

Hartnell looks to have turned his game around. You don't break up Hartnell, Leino, Briere.

This is the Hartnell I've wanted to see all year. Now, if he could just learn to stand up he would be all set!!! It seems when Philly gets engaged with after whistle scrums, they don't play as well. Keep walking away and into the SCF!!

I said as much in the GDT. He is floating way too much out there and giving up the puck at the blueline like no other forward on this team.

Was this the first game you watched this series?
Or is this a joke thread?

Maybe he sits on Monday. Him or Powe - I think the coach loves Powe's hustle and straight ahead speed into the corners. He's a better penalty killer than Carcillo or Asham too.

Anyways, it's a great problem to have. All of Powe, Carcillo, Asham and even Nodl have played well overall. Thank God we're not so beat up to need Ross anymore.

On the Flyers website, Lavvy said that Carcillo will be playing more, so that means one of them likely has to sit.

That doesn't mean he's playing Monday, that just means he expects to use him again.

After a game like this, they're not going to change a thing

Powe is on our top PK unit right now and playing great 4th line hockey... no way he should be coming out.

Hartnell was very good out there today and has been.

If anyone gets scratched for Carcillo to come back, it'd be Asham since he doesn't kill penalties, doesn't score, and really just doesn't gel with Giroux-JVR.

That's actually not true. If it was, Laviolette wouldn't have kept Asham there as religiously as he has.

So why doesnt Carcillo get the nod instead?
Are you on NARCOTICS ? Hartnells been one of our best players over the last 5 or 6 games.I have actually lost count of how many perfect passes that cat has made to his team mates coming through the slot, he has been killing Habs on the boards, in the corners, clogging up the middle etc.I like Carcillo, love that cats spirit, energy etc, But Harts has been NAILS !

Would Laviolette sit out Betts to give his shoulder some healing time? Just speculating that he's nursing it.

I kind of think Carcillo sat because they were afraid he'd start a huge brawl. Look at how game 3 ended; we don't need to continue that fighting crap. Carcillo is too emotional.

And I would have sat Asham long before Carcillo. I can't stand Asham.

Even though Asham hasnt been doing much (I think he is there on the 3rd line for more of a vet presense with the younger guys), Carcillo hasnt done jack **** since the Devils series. He has been 100% invisible.

Another question can't we just put Carcillo instead of Powe or Asham? A line JVR-Giroux-Carcillo wouldn't be bad !

Powe is a valuable PKer, especially with Gagne and Carter not killing penalties because of their injuries.

Where have you been the last six or seven games. Hartnell has been playing very well. That line has been terrific. Plus I think carbomb has a flat tire right now and some time off will be good for him.
