Good season, great playoffs. Going to be an interesting summer, hopefully we're able to keep the team mostly intact and get to see what they can do next year - with less injuries.

Great run, and we learned a lot of things.

One, our depth guys stepped up in Moore, Moen, Pyatt and Lapierre.

Two, Cammarelli and Gionta were brought here to score, they did.

Three, Plekanec isn't a $5 million a season player, and if Montreal wastes that money I will be pissed.

Four, Halak proved he can be a number one, but he also showed he can't handle a full work load and he looked tired the whole Flyers series. Lets hope the Habs keep both Halak and Price.

Five, Habs need to address the Hamrlik and Gomez salary situations. Hammer for one year isn't so much an issue, but Gomez is.

Loved the run, but changes need to happen and hopefully will be addressed.

Pleks, AK and his sister are gone. Montreal needs to address their top 6 with size and skill.

Bulldog players like Trottier and others are deserved a long look next year too, we have a good depth there...but not top 6 depth.

Should be an interesting summer, didn't want it to start tonight.

"Incredible Season"

Rubbish regular season.

Pretty good post season.

We need more consistency. Some games we are world beaters, some games we are AHL at best.

There is some dead wood to be gotten rid of; AK, SK, maybe Spacek

Life is a game of rock, paper, scissors.

The Flyers game is the nemesis of the one played by the Habs, just like the Habs had the perfect system to oust Washington and Pittsburgh.

Habs = Paper
Wash, Pitt = Rock
Phi = Scissors

There wasn't much to do, yes the team tried everything it could. Kudos. I'm proud of them.

That said, I'm off to bed.
Not sure whether I'll continue to stay awake until 4am to watch all the games of the final.

Go Bulldogs!

This is the furthest the Habs have gone since I was a conscious fan (they won in 1993, but that doesn't count because I was 2). It sucks to see them lose, but I'm very proud. They proved many people wrong this year.

Always believe

You surprised? They even ask the crowd to cheer for Lecavalier when he played here in the Bolts jersey.

Wow... Let's let Plekanec go because "OMGZ HE'S SOFT AS BUTTER!!!" and then let's spend the whole year looking for a decent replacement for him, like we did with Streit in 2008-2009.

Being rough ain't his job. He has played over 110 games this year, the reason why he's being that tired out is only and only because he has spent the whole year playing for him and Andrei, getting in the corners and getting the puck out of it when Andrei wouldn't do it.

What we have to do isn't replacing our physically weak, talented players with grinders and tanks... We have to find a way to get some of those tanks to replace those who didn't do their job in the first place (Andrei Kostitsyn, Benoît Pouliot).

This is the end of both Kostitsyns in Montreal, let's take this money and sign some guy who will be able to play that role better...

Oh and to those who want nothing about Pleks next season... Guess why geniuses? Datsyuk was considered as the biggest playoffs choker in the league back in 2008.

Look at those hand shakes. Lots of class. I'm really proud of this team. They were condemned by so many before the season began. And they gave us the most exciting playoffs in a long time.

Gomez, Gionta, Cammalleri, Gill, Gorges, Halak all came up with a wonderful season and great playoffs. Subban is going to be such a great addition next season.

The feeling is so different than what it was one year ago. A few changes needed here and there and we'll be as competitive as the best teams.

Very happy of the changes and the results

110 games played, most of them with a pansy winger will do you just that.

The only way we could have won this series is by playing really defensive like we did in the first 2 rounds but it seems players thought it was ''JUST'' the flyers so they could try and put on a show... the problem is the Flyers played the same kind of defense Montreal did before and capitalized on scoring chances. On paper, the Flyers have a better team than the Penguins and a wayyy better defence than the Caps... their only problem was their goaltender but by playing good defensively, they didnt really have to worry about that.

However, thanks to the players for this wonderful post-season, you really rocked!

We're really 1 player away from being a top-tier team when everyone is healthy, so lets hope a Nathan Horton is coming our way!

HABS FAN FOREVER!

What a scandal they interview the players from the winning team first.

OMG this is unacceptable.
