Hartford Wolfpack series!

They seem to have good offence and defence. Theyre goalie seems to be hot and balej is also on fire.
Will this series also go to 7?

this team scares me. didn't they sweep their last opponent? they lay a pretty good beating on the portland pirates in the first round as well.

From what I saw of Labarbera in the NHL, he's a pretty bad goaltender.

I think this is the same guy that the Penguins lit up for 7 goals that one night. Many of the players on that Penguins team are down in Wilkes Barre right now.

He is maybe the best goalie in the AHL, supposedly, but your point remains and I agree with it. They should be able to get the job done, but Hartford is a very good oponent. This will be a tough, hard fought, physical series.

Side note: now playing Brass Bonanza in preparation for Hartford!

He's one in the same, I remember that game like it was yesterday..one of the better moments the PENS had this year!

P.S. This is my 500th Post!

His abilities and numbers are inflated by a stellar defense infront of him. Put him under a little pressure, and the Pens will break him.

I'm confident. The team's playing well, and we have the hottest goaltender (and arguably, the hottest player) of the playoffs in Andy Chiodo. Its going to take some good hockey to beat us.

He was indeed the victim in that game, but the only current Baby Pen to score in that one was Koltsov.

LaBarbera is still fearsome in the AHL. I know you didn't imply anything to the contrary, but all bets are off by now, in the conference finals. They didn't make it this far with a sieve back there.

Through 9 games, LaBarbera is 8-1, 1.27, .950, 3 SO. Luckily for us, Cheech is performing on a comparable clip.

LaBarbera is one of those great AHLers who is godawful in the NHL. Hopefully it's his defense making it seem so.

I've felt the Penguins have the best chance of any team in the East to beat Hartford...but it's not going to be an easy task.

Seven Game series to the wire.

Well, regardless of how well he's really performing, that team is putting up incredible defensive numbers. I think we have the horsepower to break them, though.
