No thanks.

I'd much rather have a young guy get the job.
Even better is I'd rather see a young guy go out and take a job!

Hull still produce at a high level. He is a good playmaker too. He's old i admit but i would sign him if we can't get guys like Kovalev, Primeau, Madden, etc.

Think about it...Dagenais or Golden Brett???

I would give him up to 3.5 millions dollar X 2 years!

Great stats again this year!
81 Games
25 Goals Would be 1st here
43 Passes 1st here
68 Pts 1st here
-4
12 PIM only. Could have won the gentlemen award
10 PP Goals
6 Games winner
200 Shots
16min53 per game only

Impressive stats!!!

I would sign him. He's a veteran who has a much of experience in the hockey league. I'm sure that he would be very appreciate for the Canadiens is B.G. sings him.

I'd love to see Hull on the Habs, even if only for a season or two. NEVER count that guy out; he's got the smarts and the tools to be a valuable player for quite a few years to come.

Yes, the Habs are definitely going with youth, but a veteran can anchor things and help the young guys get through the rough spots. Think of Gilmour two years ago on the Habs or Andreychuk on the Bolts.

We need help until such time that Kaststitsyn or Perezhogin can lock down that wing spot. I have no problem with a veteran coming in to fill the role. It doesn't mean we're giving up on the future; it simply means we don't want to give up on the present to do it.

If we get Alexei, I don't think we'll have many problems next year making the playoffs. I might give a young player a fulltime spot in that case. If we don't, we'll be in a dogfight again and we'll definitely need another veteran presence, someone who knows what it really takes to win. Hull could be that guy.

If we don't sign anyone, it will be tough to make the playoff again next year

We need at least Kovalev!

Agreed. Buffalo isn't getting any weaker.

Hull = Pass

The last thing I want to see is a slightly washed up cocky diva commanding big minutes while the team implodes around the gravity of his ego. There, I said it. Don't get me wrong, he'd make a great addition to an NHL '04 team, but he can find another sucker team to pay his 5+ mil. He wouldn't play there anyway.

Hull = no

Except perhaps if he's the one calling Mtl and asking for a "conservative" contract... Then well i guess it's ok...
