Anybody tell me the best place to get one? Best combination of value and view I guess... I've yet to go to a game at the RBC Center so I have no reference of my own.
If you like to get a little rowdy and are looking to spend the least amount possible, I would recommend Section 328.
Thankfully I'm grandfathered into the Upper Goal Zone, I don't think I could do a full season otherwise.
And yes, if you get a 26 pack or a full season they have a Pick A Seat day in July-ish.
328 is a good call. 316 and 312 are pretty good as well. I thought they had opened the upper goal zones to new STH's last year but apparently not. They might have just allowed people who got playoff ticket packages there to keep the seats if they had agreed to purchase season tickets. Or at least that's what probably happened.

Thanks
just wondering how you became a hurricanes fan from england?
Dropped in to say I received my invite to pick a seat for my new 26 game pack. Very excited. I'll be selecting my seats on July 15th; when does "pick a seat" begin?

Full season is July 12-13th. So the 26 gamers will likely start on July 14th.
Awesome! My day has just been made! I was really in hopes I could have the NHL schedule before I have to sign up for fall classes. Gotta make sure I don't have classes on nights of must see games...

Sorry for missing these... I was a Penguins fan back in England from the age of about 10 (when I got playing NHLPA 93 on the Super Nintendo...) .
Move to the US last February, to Albany specifically, and got the wife into hockey with the River Rats - which is where we got into following the Canes... anyway she then decides she's sick of cold weather and miserable people in NY and wants to move south, so I suggested we follow the Rats to NC and here we are
