Any chance of jumbling up our defensive pairings and putting something like:
Pronger - Krajicek
Timonen - Parent (successful in the past)
Carle - Coburn (also successful in the past)
...this so the Hawks depth doesnt expose our average bottom pairing and wear out our top 4?

Nah, we just need these guys to keep good position and have our forwards do some of the work backchecking like we have had all postseason. I don't think Chicago's depth will wear us out if we do those things. Depth really becomes a problem WHEN you don't have the luxury of 4 28-30min d-men, but have a top pair and inferior 2nd and 3rd pairs. You will see 2 and 77 paired with one of the other guys when they are out there though, and honestly that hasn't been too much of a problem. They just really stink together.
I'm more worried about Briere's line against the top line. I really think that we're going to need to move Carter to that 2nd center spot or that line will be exposed defensively.
I dreamed that we went up 2-0 in the first period, but Chicago tied it 2-2 in the second on a Toews goal and then a Kane goal on the faceoff after a penalty shot.
But we scored twice in the 3rd period, one normal goal and 1 EN and won 4-2.
