Team Vermont:
John LeClair

We rule! I don't suppose we can just include guys who played college in Vermont, can we?

How about Todd Gillingham. He enjoyed some time as a Baby Leaf.
And how about the Newfie that got selected 21st overall in the OHL Draft this year. Can't remember the name though.

If i had to put a Newfoundland into, lets say a Provincal Pro Hockey Tourney then heres my forwards
Daniel Ryder - Jason King - Michael Ryder
Daniel Cleary - Harold Druken - Darren Langdon
Ryan Clowe - Jason Morgan - Mark Chaplin
Dwayne Norris - Derrick Kent - Todd Gillingham
(Can't rmember some, there are a few decent ones in Europe and in the ECHL)

We would have 3 good D(Slaney, O'Brien, Brown). We wolud just pick up a few drunks along the way and give them a stick and a pair of skates and let em go
not to generalize here, but it works better if you make sort of a Team Maritimes. then you can throw guys like Al MacInnis, Colin White, Mike Eagles, Scott Pellerin, Don Sweeney, Glen Murray, etc.

BTW, i'm on this one site, and it's telling me that Shane Doan is from Eston, Saskatchewan. for serious?

lol, you're kind of taking away the purpose of a 'team'. A normal team doesn't have 5 goalies, or 10 centers, or 7 left wingers, or 11 defencemen (That's almost 2 teams!). The whole point is to norrow it down to 4 forward lines, 3 defencive lines, 2 goalies, and an extra or 2 for each position, not name every single NHL player from that area.

The reason why I did it this way is because this way I can leave it up to the individual to select the 2-goalies, 6-defensemen and 12-forwards that they want to play for each of the teams I listed.........I would have included a player or two or even left out a player or two that maybe you might have wanted playing on a particular team............this way I leave it up to you to select the 20-players for each of the rosters.

Cheers!~

Actually we aren't considered Maritimes. I guess nobody likes us. It would have to be Team Atlantic. It would be a smart idea caused we'd lose big time every game. (15-1 sound good)
