Just a Question from a Pens Fan.

I come in peace I swear, lets say I wanted Wolski to play for my Pens next year. What would it realistically take?

Who else would you like in addition to Wolski? I want Malkin.

There's really nothing that would make any sense. Jordan Staal, I guess. You exlaim, "No way in Hell!", and I don't blame you. There is just nothing else that is tempting. We can't spend money, and Wolski is exactly the type of player we need more, not less of. We don't need picks and prospects. Those days are over with. You've got a couple of nice young blueliners in Letang and Goligoski, but the offense from our D is not the issue. It's our forwards(outside of guys like Wolski) that can't score. There is no fit, here, I'm afraid.

Are you willing to pay for him out of your own pocket?

You're not getting Malkin, Maybe Staal and Alex G.

Uhh.... someone who is offensively superior to Wolski. Remember, we're not the ones requesting this trade.

Staal makes no sense either - we already have Martin Hanzal who is pretty good in that role. Ditto for Letang/Goligoski vs Yandle.

Staal would look great as a Coyote and I can see him as a 1st line center playing along side of Doan...

haha I am glad to see someone else say it. I really don't understand why people put "feelers" out to other fans who have absolutely zero say in the goings on of a franchise. You can always go fire up NHL 2010 if you want to fantasy play GM.

Why guess at what a player might be worth, monetarily? Why speculate on anything?
