Lakers suck tonight. Can't hit a shot.

14 points in the first.

Lakers shooting under 30% and only down by 1 point.

Celtics are using the Lakers bigs as ladders out there but refs are not calling it because they are short a man. I can't believe the lack of calls out there.

Completely expected in a game 7. It doesn't excuse the high number of open shots the Lakers have missed tonight. 26% shooting is just embarrasing.

This is one of the worst games I have ever seen. This game epitomizes what is wrong with the NBA, I miss the 80's.

NBA players can't make open shots or free throws anymore. They can barely make layups.

Is Kobe throwing it? How many times is he going to dribble off his foot when there is no pressure? He is litteraly giving the game to the Celtics.

Basketball was my favorite sport in the 80's to mid-90s. It was my life.

This game and actually the entire Finals reminds me why I abaondoned it for hockey and never looked back. Unbelievably ugly. Looks like the 2001 Devils playing a split squad game.

I've never seen a team miss so many free throws. Unbelievable. And that was not a foul on Artest.

I wonder what it would be like to see the Kings match half the success the Lakers have had in their history... just imagine the crowds, the hordes of fans wearing Kings merchandise... will we ever witness such a thing? One can hope.

The amazing thing is...despite FT's being over a 2 to 1 margin for the Lakers and Pau Gasol getting away with a clear travel on a huge play, I still had my news feed on facebook filled with people complaining about the refs.

I know there are Laker fans on this board, and this is obviously not directed at all fans, but overall the Lakers have to have the most annoying and ignorant fan base of any North American sports team. It's just like with USC and the Angels, I just for the life of me don't understand why people get so much enjoyment out of hopping onto a bandwagon. Two of my favorite things in life are Kings hockey and Michigan football, both have been through some tough times, and when they are good again it will be that much more rewarding.

And Ron Artest is just another example of karma not existing in sports. Talk about the last guy who should win anything.

The officiating was terrible on both ends of the court. The refs clearly dictated at least 2 games this series.

I thought the officiating was fine. They let them play until a point they would hack each other so hard that they had to blow the whistle. The mistake was letting them get away with a lot of stuff early, if they hadn't, the game wouldn't have turned out that way. Ron Artest is a defensive master.

Well, that is what I have waited for my whole life. Now a second threepeat in the last decade and a year would just about be perfect. Doesn't get better.

The Lakers need to figure out their point guard position. Fisher is a FA I believe and is a quality backup at this stage. I don't know how they go about getting one though.
