Kobasew hit the goalie lightly, and then Nabokov embellished it. Then speared Kobasew. Kobasew didn't spear anyone, but was then crosschecked twice by Stuart.

And don't twist my words around because you hate Calgary for knocking out your wings. I said you can't throw cheapshots at the end of a blow out and not expect to have to fight. Stuart pussed out.

Yeah, you keep sayign that, but you don't know anything about hockey fights. I don't like Chris Simon, he was a Ranger this year, but he had a hell of a year, probalby top ten in fighting. He isn't the shadow of his former self he was the last few years. Doesn't Parker still have a broken hand anyways?

He did slew foot Nabokov... but Nabby, like any 'tender today lept like a fish on the line. I didn't think that looked like much of a "spear".. but whatever. The Flames should have taken advantage of the all the PP's awarded them, and they failed to. This is the Sharks team I expected, but didn't see for the first two games... HOWEVER... the Flames missed several wide open nets on one timers... so this game could easily have been much closer than it was, especially when one conciders that two of the Sharks goals were on series blunders by the Flames.

Iginla has to step up and score some goals.

I love these lines.

What is there to know about Hockey Fights? You keep saying that to me like it means something or i should be offended.

And i hate the flames for knocking out the wings? I dont hate the flames. to hate you gotta have feelings for, i could care less if it was calgary or Edmonton doing this. TO say its because i hate calgary for knocking out the wings is such a lame line.

are you saying You didnt see Kobasew return stickwork after he was hit by Nabakov? Well what do you expect, you didnt see Hatcher land punches on Iginla.

But i dont know Anything according to you so what is there to say?

"Well what do you expect, you didn't see Hatcher land punches on Iginla."

Hey, way to lie there, *******. I never said Hatcher didn't land punches. But you, in your ultimate homer wisdom, declared a total beatdown on Iginla, when it was a draw with no one landing anything relaly that signifigant. If making up things is going to be your arguement, don't even try.

"What is there to know about hockey fights?"

A lot, actually. I questioned your knowledge on this subject, because you are completly ignorant on it. You are stating things as fact that are 100% wrong because you are pissed and you don't know what you are talking about. Simon is a good fighter now, who is not scared of Scott Parker. You don't need to be offended, you should just feel bad about spitting off all this garbage about hockey fights, like everyone konws what they are talkign about. Just because you don't care about it doesn't mean you know abou ***.

Mabye you don't hate Calgary. But your posts during that series showed some obvious bias against them, and it carries into here. But mabye its just because you have such a lack of knowledge that it just SEEMS like that.

he had his stick down with the blade up, and yanked it up to hit I THINK it was Stuart after Stuart cross checked him after Kob retaliated on Nabakov who also slashed him. It wasnt your typical thrust-spear. But he lead with the point of blade to make contact with the sharks player.

Take this piss match to PMs...everyone was warned at the beginning of the thread to keep the personal insults out of the game discussion. I don't want to see this thread locked up as well.

but keep giving the board censor a run for its money, it really shows i know nothing about anything!

I'm not going to post on this anymore since the mods asked, but if you want you can PM me.

If you can't read, I said in THAT series, not this one, but nice try at actually looking smart for a change. Your single post in itself was a carry over from your comments last time.

i dont believe i made a personal insult, i just commented and the guy reamed me. but if I did mods can feel free to delete the offending post.

I think this is the first game thread ive taken part in this series, so i dont know about the other threads getting locked up. But its hard to keep civil when watching a team do only 1 thing at the end of games they are losing.

its stuff you see in the regular season. But ive never seen it happen so much in the play-offs like it has this year. Perhaps its more of a sign of the game today I dunno. I mean you see fights, Detroit colorado had a couple, Ottawa and Toronto, Detroit St. Louis. But these teams have history. Calgary is just doing it because they Lost, no history, no hatred. Just being sore about not showing up when it counts.

nice.

but i simply assumed you ment this series. I mean back in the calgary detroit series, did you actually expect me to praise the work of Ville Nieminen and other various players on calgary when they are facing the team i cheer for?

Well Calgary choked. Terrible game from the Flames. Credit the Sharks though. They played a good game and capitalized on their opportunities. They were down 2-0 and have fought back in a BIG way.

It doesn't look good for Calgary right now. Momentum is on SJ's side right now and it would be pretty easy to count the Flames out right now, but they've proven me wrong before. We'll see how it goes tomorrow..

understood

but seriously after seeing what he said, and then reading the pm he just sent me calling me a homer and still trying to pump his superior fighting knowledge over me, would YOU continue it via PMs

<rhetorical, dont answer. I just got my own answer to why he kept the argument going with the nature of his PM>

SJ is a completely different team once they have the lead. When the Flames scored to tie it you could see SJ start to panic. This is where the Flames should have pounced, but SJ got a lucky bounce (gift) from Kipper.
I can't beleive that we gave up a 2-0 series lead going home
But now we are back to where we belong, total underdogs. SJ has all the momentum, and many are thinking the Flames have no chance now. That's just the way we like it, thank you.

The flames should really be kicking themselfs
not just B/C of the loss but the fact that the next game is monday

Both these games were must wins for the sharks
The Flames had a chance to finish them off today and failed

The sharks need to keep playing the way they played in CAL
Steady on D and capitolizing on their opp.

Before this series, I really thought the Sharks could get into the head of mikka

The key for the sharks tomarrow will be to get up in the first period and start to get in Mikka's head

Believe me
No sharks fans think this series is over

And another thing

Can someone tell if the fans threw drinks on the ice aftter the horn

It almost looked like a beverage was thrown at the sharks bench when they were celebrating the win

there was, at least 1. Camera showed one and then cut away to the players on the ice around Nabakov.

Calgary and Philly can play for 3rd

and simultaneously play for most valuable chipster and cheap shot specialist. Calgary is coming back to earth and their bad behavior over the course of the season. Sutter would have loved to have had Oliwa and then he could have had another 2 game vacation courtesy of the NHL. Calgary was the instigator in most situations today. Silly Vile needs his clock cleaned and a little teaching on how to handle a stick legally. I guess if you can get away with it, then it is OK in his mind. Fits Sutter and his history, Looking like the Sharks in 6 since the Flames woke up the more talented team with their perpetual little digs and cross checks.

Bottom line: Calgary is the most unsportsmanlike team in the league right now. It's real tough to triple team players in a scrum and hit the other team's goalies...

No, Anthony...Flamesfan is ex-Flames defenseman Brad Werenka.

Everyone knows that!
