Recent Anderson Silva quote "I've fought idiots all over the world. Some have respected me, some haven't." I'll dig up a link when I get a chance.

WAR SILVA. I think the flack he takes is totally unfair. It's not his fault he's fought guys that the UFC had no business giving title fights to. It's his job to win, and that's what he does. He finishes more often than GSP does, yet he's pegged as a boring fighter. The guy is the best fighter in the world, and he's not going to share that monicker until GSP starts successfully dabbling at 185, Fedor changes his diet and wants to prove wrong the naysayers, or BJ regains his focus.

Chael is going to get destroyed in the fashion Forrest did. He should be careful what he asks for.

I hope they have the same female official that reffed Cyborg's last fight. I'd love the stoppage to happen one round later than it arguably should have.

I've never thought he was boring, just that he thinks he's better the he is. Not that he isn't great and one of the top in the world, but everyone has to fight the lesser in between matches and he just seems to think he's above it all, imo.

They say a picture says 1,000 words.

What does this picture tell you?

He's scared.

And dead.

It's a still picture and doesn't tell anything really. Two seconds after that he was right in Andersons face.

Watching the countdown to 117 on their website right now. So psyched for Saturday. In the end, aside from the fact that Silva is better than him, I think all of the **** talking that Sonnen has done is going to put a ton of pressure on him when it comes time to step into the octagon. Unless of course he is truly oblivious to what he is saying and truly believes in it.

"This is a grown man with earrings, crooked hats, and pinks shirts. I don't have any room for this guy!?" lol

No he wasn't. He turned toward Silva briefly and wouldn't even look him in the eye after Silva stared him down for a very long time.

He is very scared. Tomorrow during weigh-in's we will all see at the same time just how much.

Is anyone that shocked? He pumped up this fight for the payday.
Now he's seen how po'd Silva looks and knows he has a serious beating coming and it may not have been worth it.

He was right in Anderson's face but he still looked like he was about to cry.

Man Sonnen is going to be in a world of hurt come Saturday, has anyone ever seen Silva like this before?

The funniest part of the whole thing was Alves expression when Silva was staring down Sonnen.

You guys are funny. I'm sure Sonnen is now ******** his pants because Anderson Silva stared him down at the press conference. Seriously?

He looked like he was before the staredown. Hate Silva, hate Sonnen. Want to see both lose. But Chael is scared. He was looking at Anderson's mouth.

Definitely will be an exciting outcome from all of this. However, I hope Silva destroys Sonnen.

Silva is the favourite in this fight, but you're naive if you think Sonnen isn't a serious threat. The only man to ever win a round against Anderson was Dan Henderson, and he did that with his wrestling. Sonnen has no delusions of being a great striker, is more aggressive with his takendowns than Hendo and looks like he has a better gas tank.

This fight is going to be interesting.

Just saying. Don't make the guy something he's not.

Otherwise I completely agreed with you.
