Thing is, I actually do believe they can win this series. It certainly won't be easy, but they can do it without a doubt. That's the difference with this team from previous Flyers teams, in the past I'd throw up the white flag at this point, but this team instills so much confidence into me. It could very well be 2-0 us right now, much like that Boston series and we know what happened there. They will ride the Flyer faithful to 2 wins at home here.

As do I. It's weird, I'm so calm and really just don't care that we are down 2-0 right now because I believe in this group and until Chicago is skating with the Cup I will not believe otherwise or consider any other opinions telling me different. Perhaps it's denial or just a supreme confidence in what this team can do, but we will soon find out.
These past 2 games have shown that despite all of the haters, we can hang with the mighty Hawks and more importantly we can hang with them in their house.
I don't have a feeling of nervousness or feel scared like years past against Washington, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh where we are just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
We have what it takes to beat Chicago. We know it and they know it. Last time we had our backs against the wall history was made.
Pittsburgh was down 0-2 heading back home last year so that alone demonstrates that it is not at all unheard of for a team in our spot to overcome.
What we did to them in the last 10 minutes of the game, if we continue to do that, we'll win the next 4. That was amazing hockey and I think the coach will be pointing that out.
Optimism. It's what you need in times like these. Obviously, I'm concerned, but I haven't lost hope. Lavi needs to get the players focused on just taking Game 3 for right now. It's not like the Hawks proved they were without a doubt superior to us these first two games. These are two pretty evenly matched teams, for the most part, but the Flyers need to step up, take Game 3, and make this a series.
I still think this series can go 7, but I'm not convinced we can take one in Chicago. Leighton still has to steal a game. He improved from game one to game two, and has to continue to do so.

Same here. It's very alien to me, actually. I was more disappointed and concerned after some of those late regular season losses, those games against Minnesota and Nashville and all. I don't get too high or too low these playoffs. Shootouts have been our kryptonite, and ever since we got over that hump and made these playoffs it seems like we just won't fade. 4 of 5? 3 weeks ago the task was 4 of 4. Call me when they're finally done, but until then, I feel just fine.
This is all a sick joke put together by Carcillo to torture the fans of Chicago. As you all know he was the mastermind behind letting Boston go up 3-0.

Apart from being down 2-0, I still think the Flyers have been the better team in this series.
Leighton, while not being worked very much, has to close the door. I too believe we are going to win this series by going 4 straight. One game at a time boys.

Things will change for Niemi when his hotel room in Philly keeps getting calls in the middle of the night. We are going to expose him at home.

Plant the seed of doubt in their minds by taking the first one at home. I suspect that this Flyers team is still fairly confident that the series is going seven games and were prepared for that going in. Like many have said all along, this team is built for a long series.
