Richard Labbe was told that Brunet is gone next year and that Joel Bouchard might replace him.

Brunet will replace jacques demers between the periods and marc denis wil replace bouchard between the periods. Brunet was alright between th periods IMO. He just didnt have the vocab to describe a whole game. And he ha da hab hate imo.

Funny. I already knew that because I work in the medias, but I thought it was made public already. So I never posted it. Sorry guys!
And apparently, it's Brunet's own decision.

He seemed to enjoy doing the games a lot, so I can't help but think he found out everybody hated him and took the decision based on that. If it is so, it's very commendable of himself to do what people want, in that case, gtfo.

I don't hate him as much as you guys did but I was convinced that this was going to happen.
Les gros bonhommes will be dissapointed.

That's great news. RDS will be watchable again. Bouchard can't possibly be worse than Brunet and isn't nearly as obsessed with French players. It'll be good to have a change of colour guys during the broadcast.

Yeah! Brunet Gone...
Boooo, Bouchard in...
I think we'll get tired of him too. RDS should hire a guy who is made for the job. An analyst don't have to be an ex-NHL player.

My god, it's about time!
I always like more Joel's comments (without his hands that he keet swigging) than Brunet's comments.
Good decision imo! Brunet was horrible.

Good news ! (For some season games we are constrain to listen RDS). Joel Bouchard is one ot their rare competant analyst
It's time for Pierre Houde to retire... I hate him as much as Brunet. He rarely describe the game and only comment on referees work. This guy stinks

Pinch me I'm dreaming!
I can start watching games on RDS again!
Plus I really like Bouchard. For some reason, Michael Prophet came to mind.

I remember when Pedneault got fired, people all had this same reaction, thinking the guy who would replace him, Brunet, would be better.
But he was worse
. Let's hope it won't be the same thing now with Bouchard.
