Keith gives Leighton a jab

Keith trying to get under Leighton's skin during a stoppage...and Hawks fans say they'd NEVER do anything between the whistles.....

Just goes to show that both teams like to stir the pot and play outside the rules where possible.

I'd be curious if Leighton was talking to him given that they played together. Didn't strike me as a serious blow at all...may have just been a friendly jab.

Possible. Leighton didn't have much of a reaction, but it seemed like a good jab right at the soft spot between the C/A and the glove.

Unless there was some friendly banter, I would have freaked out if someone gave me that poke, haha.

Yeah, Leighton's complete lack of any reaction or look back makes me think it was potentially joking around. If he just did that out of the blue and Leighton didn't at least look back and tell him off, that would be kind of shocking.

Actually, looking again, it looks like he poked him in his ribs or whatever more than even his arm.

I don't know...clearly not a big deal based on Leighton's reaction and the fact that we heard nothing about it.

Yeah, definitely...but if there's any goalie who I might expect to just let it slide, it's Leighton.

If the roles were reveresed, Pronger does that to Niemi, main board would call it intent to injure

Unbelievable! No Call? No Suspension? He's clearly a dirty player with the intent to injure Leighton and give the sport of Hockey a further black eye. I hope we send in a tape to the league, there's no place for this in the game. Disgusting filthly organization with the worst fans in all of sports!

Thanks for indulging me, I always wanted to know what it would be like to be a Hawks Fan (oh good my balls are back as well)

Leighton and Keith did play together in Norfolk for 2 seasons so given the fact that Leighton didn't react at all would lead me to believe that it could have been a friendly tap.
