Rangers' Top 20 Prospects POLL (#15)

Well, it was a lot closer than most recent rounds, but Marcus Jonasen is the winner for the 14th spot. If you haven't voted yet for round #14, please do so.

The next few rounds should be interesting, as Lampman, Giroux, and Helminen are running neck and neck, with Wiseman and Roche a lenght or two behind behind, and bringing up the rear....Beetlebomb.

The Rangers' propsect rankings are as follows:

1) Fedor Tjutin
2) Henrik Lundqvist
3) Josef Balej
4) Hugh Jessiman
5) Thomas Pock
6) Petr Prucha
7) Maxim Kondratiev
8) Jarkko Immonen
9) Ivan Baranka
10) Garth Murray
11) Nigel Dawes
12) David Liffiton
13) Dominic Moore
14) Marcus Jonasen

Who is the Rangers' #15 Prospect?

Helminen Him and Ortmeyer will be great on the PK together in the future.

Also, I plan to add in 4 more players to the poll after round #16. Please post the next 4 (and only 4) names you want to see here in this thread (although we probably won't get to them after a while)

Here a few for consideration:

Shawn Collymore
Joey Crabb
Lee Falardeau
Matin Grenier
Jeff Heerema
Kim Hirshovitz
Ryan Hollweg
Chris Holt
Nathan Martz
Corey Potter
Rory Rawlyk
Dylan Reese
Juris Stals
Craig Weller
Leonid Zvachin

I went with Roche, though I admit at this stage I'm grasping at straws. I probably should go with Kosak since I saw him play in Hartford and he looked terrific . .. but I don't have the guts yet.

Oh, and I thought the Rangers lost Collymore's draft rights bmoak . . .

Picked Helminen again. Hopefully this time the rest of the board follows along.

Add Hollweg, Falardeau, Grenier and Hereema.

Alexander Giroux. Could be my bias talking but I was sorry to see him leave the Sens system in the de Vries trade.

Bmoak,

Collymore is no longer a Ranger prospect. He wasn't signed, went back into the draft, wasn't drafted and is now a free agent.

I voted for Helminen.

Add
Crabb, Hollweg, Reese and Potter.

I went for Lampman. Its beyond me how a guy who has actually played in the NHL is being passed on over what are in my opinion longshots.

I like Roche and think he could be a steal but I have to go for Bryce until the other guys prove that they can do more.

Man, like always, GIROOOOO is getting pushed way far down..SHould be up at 10-11 and is flat out better then Garth Murray and a player Ranger fans will love when all is said and done.....All just my opinion of course...Actually, I can see the props for the other guys so far but one guy that has never impressed me is Lampman...Hope you guys voting for him are correct...
